Very nice and great service. The food was not that good the beef was very tough. I really enjoyed the Japanese cuisine very good. The jacuzzi was not a good experience.

We love coming here. The staff is wonderful and so accommodating!! Miguel at Le Gourmet, Ricardo at main buffet and many more but our favorite is Luis our butler and friend. We have had him the last 4 times we have been here and he is the best!! Constant contact, texts daily and a lovely person!! Thank you everyone! See you next year!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

This resort was a lot of fun and I went with my daughter for one week. My butler Agapito was excellent, and he always sent me daily updates on the schedule and asked how our vacation was going. The animation team made it a lot of fun and it was nice to see everybody again... Christina, black diamond, Luis, Franklin, Panda, Anderson, Adriana, and a special thank you to Victoria for making friends with my daughter. Victoria my daughter genuinely loves you !! I would happily return !! The food was very good. Thank you all for another great vacation !

Absolutely amazing! We are an early sixties couple that have been to the DR 6 times, 4 of which are in Punta Cana. Each previous visit we were always looking for something a little better. Well we found it here at the Colonial and we are coming back. We were here from Dec 9-17. Our requirements have always been: amazing beach, easy access to shaded seating, good AC in the room, comfortable bed and great food and service. Majestic Colonial absolutely nailed all of this. And may i add that their secret sauce that they instill as their corporate culture is incredible. They train their people in such a way that you feel like the most important person in the resort to them. They are all always smiling, they cannot do enough for you, they all work incredibly hard and we felt like family. They often tell you that you are family and that its your home and it really does feel that way. I cant write a review without mentioning a few of the many stars they have working there. They are all great but these folks deserve special mention. We did the club side which includes a butler and we cannot say enough great things about our butler Edith. She was absolutely incredible and took care of anything and everything that we ever could have wanted and then some. She was our first real contact at the resort and did she ever set the vacation off to a great start. She provided a resort tour, explained everything, where everything was, setup all of our dinner reservations, checked in with us daily by both Whats App and in person. She continually wanted to know how everything was, how is the room, how is the food, where did you eat, could anything be improved, how she could be of further assistance, she provided a daily text with the activities of the day and ensured that she provided us with any tips to ensure our experience would be great. A few examples - One morning i woke up with a sore neck she offered to get me a couple of cervical pillows to sample and one of them worked really well for me. Another example - Back home i was in the middle of selling my condo and i needed to read a 7 page small font fine print offer document. I only had my cell phone and i asked her if it may be possible to print. Within 20 minutes of asking I had the printed document in my hands with a big smile. We just could not believe it. Another example - We had an 11pm flight on departure date and Edith also managed to get us a late checkout which was a nice touch. We met Miguel at Le Gourmet restaurant for lunch one day early in our vacation and he was one of the best waiters we have ever interacted with. Again big smiles, happy, joking around and just wanting to ensure that we would have the best week ever. He asked us if we had dinner plans and we said no and he was able to get us in for dinner that night (not sure how often that can be done?) but again we felt like family there. Great service, great food and their corporate culture training must instill good memory and remembering faces because we only ever had to ask for something once and then following visits to the restaurant, we did not even have to ask. They knew us and they see 1000's of people. We ended up going to Le Gourmet twice as out butler had reserved for us on another night. Miguel was aware of this. So, we arrive for dinner on that night and were seated in Miguels section and there were flower petals all over the table. Just beautiful and my partner was so thrilled. She says to me, look around, there is not another table in the restaurant with flower petals. Things like that just really added to the overall experience. Majestic Resorts absolutely nailed the customer experience. I just love the way they instill their corporate culture in staff. i spoke to many other guests and several are repeat guests. When you go to your room, you see several banners on doors saying "Welcome back". Its incredible how many returning guests they have but not surprising given their culture to take care of "their family". Another real star is Carolina at the lobby bar. We are not drinkers but we would see her first thing each morning and she made us the best Americano coffees with that great Dominican coffee All with a big smile and a warm welcome. I only asked her the first day what we wanted and then for the next 7 days, we would just walk up to the bar and her happy smiling face was there to greet us and she knew exactly what we wanted and always made it perfect! I wish my memory was half as good. My day always goes better with an incredible coffee first thing and each day was started this way. Carolina always made sure to start us off great - all without asking. There were others too but my fingers are getting sore typing...lol A couple more tidbits to share just to highlight a bit more of how the Majestic team works. One afternoon we went to the towel bar and there weren't any clean beach towels available. The bartender working the pool bar (on the opposite side of the towel bar building) said that we could just ask our butler and they would get us some. I said, no, no I don't want to complain, everything is so great. And he said, no, we want to ensure you have everything you need. Before we even ended the conversation, another butler from the club side came by with a huge bag of beach towels on his back. I guess some else complained? The point here is that it is not the butlers job to take care of beach towels but the entire staff works as a team to ensure the guest has everything they want and need. We have traveled extensively to other all inclusives and in other countries and all I can say is i dont want to go anywhere else now. We were treated incredibly at every point of the day with all staff. We will be back, its paradise and we now have no desire to go elsewhere. I am sure that everything cant always be perfect but this team really does want to make it right for their guests. They are constantly maintaining different aspects of the property and although there are comments that its dated, it was always clean and very well kept. The Gardeners work tirelessly to make the resort beautiful. My understanding is that the Colonial will be undergoing some renovations from April to October so im sure its only going to get even better. Well done Majectic Colonial - you guys understand how to run an amazing resort. Thank you for a great 8 days... we will be back soon!

I had a great stay at Majestic Colonial. The buffet staff were amazing—everyone was so kind, welcoming, and really took care of you. A special shoutout to Marisol for being especially wonderful. Housekeeping was great, and the overall staff made the experience even better. I would definitely come back!
