Wonderful location with a beautiful facility. The staff was friendly and attentive Our Concierges, Christopher and Yaleidi , were professional and hard working. They took care of all of our requests quickly and efficiently. The rooms and the public space were very clean and well kept. The pools were sparkling. The gym was good for a resort gym with everything you need for a decent work out , The food was very good with a huge variety available. I would highly recommend this resort and we will be back next year

We have been members of the Melia vacation club system since 2006, initially Club Melia members and now Circle this year. We stayed for many years at the neighboring Melia Caribe-Tropical/Melia Caribe Beach, as well as time in Cozumel, Cancun and the former resort in Costa Rica. Paradisus Palma Real Nov23-Dec 1, 2025 was the best experience so far! First if you are Circle member, request Anayely Rivera as your concierge...hands down the best concierge we have had in years! Best bartender at the swim-up pool bar was hands down Jorge...amazing service, always a smile! The best service we received in The Lunch Box was from Mary...buffet service can a little crazy, but she was always happy and went above and beyond to make sure we felt like we were special guest amongst the crowd. Lastly, the best bartender in the resort was Luis at the Ginger Bar...not just a bartender, he was a skilled mixologist who obviously took his craft seriously, adding just enough flair and showmanship when he made drinks to make it fun to watch him work, without being over-the-top/too showy. Every drink was perfectly made! As for restaurants, Mina steak house was the best meat we had during the week, and for Dominican seafood dishes/presentation, definitely try Flora. The only minor negative was housekeeping. While the room was always cleaned when we got back from the beach/pool to get ready for dinner, we missed the little flourishes such as towel animals, flowers in the room, or turndown service which we enjoyed at other Melia resorts.

As someone who has traveled to a variety of places and stayed at many hotels, I was blown away from the service of Paradisus from the moment I arrived to the entrance. The dedication and willingness to help and accommodate from all the staff was something I have never experienced before! we stayed at the reserve side which I would definitely recommend. The reserve has a seperate beach and pool which was amazing, and bars that have higher shelf liquor and an extra restaurant with better food, and a fully inclusive mini bar restocked every day, which was so worth it! We had a small issue with our meal at Sante, and the staff there (Miasel, Melqui) went above and beyond to make up for this, and the chef made us a special dinner with lobster, champagne and more. Christopher was our concierge and he texted us every morning with the actives and found us in person every day to ask if we needed anything. He also decorated the bathtub with a happy birthday sign made out of flower petals! Johan, Alfredo and Fernando from the Entertainment team were great dancers and super fun to be around. Yuderi, Martin, Gilberto, Rafael, who were amazing beach servers and bartenders at the Reserve beach and made our bed/drinks everyday. Maximo who worked at the winery was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Pool bartenders, Alberto, Jonathan, and Jorge were amazing as well. Other bartenders and waiters that went above and beyond were, Miguel, Jhojan, Diorgenis, Victor, Jean, Eduardo, Luis, Yefry, Jean, Miguel, Richard, and Manolo. I have never had that much of a positive experience with a resort staff until I came here. I will definitely be back on service alone, but not to mention the amount of space in the room and the size of the pools. Everything was modern, up to date, and we had an amazing time. The food was a hit or miss, but that's expected at an all inclusive. 10/10 stay, thank you to all!
