My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at dreams Tulum. From the beautiful views to the amazing customer service we were absolutely blown away. Laura in the preferred Club area was absolutely amazing as well as Teresa in the gift shop close to the pool by Sugar reef. Both ladies made our trip, exceptional and, we cannot wait to come back and bring more people with us next time. The only thing I would say that they could improve on is some of the drinks were not as carbonated as they needed to be, and it would be great if they could make sure that those drinks were fresh.
Do not go here

Very dated, not much to do, small swimming area. If it rains, there are no activity’s or an indoor space to gather. Foam party in the pool is underfunded. Drinks are watered down, wedding rehearsal was in the morning while the dinner was at night
Love Dreams Tulum

My sister and I have been to this resort more than 10 times. We love this place as it is a little quieter than other areas. The grounds are lovely and if you are lucky enough to not be there when the sargassum seaweed takes over, you can take a long walk along the sand beaches.
Dreams has 2 different sets of live entertainment every evening. The musicians never disappoint and they are all wonderful. The entertainment is primarily Latin music with other favorites thrown in. Our favorite group is Las Piels (The Skins) who have been entertaining at the resort for years. Their specialty is 70s rock and they are great musicians!
The food is good, the beds are comfortable and the scenery is perfect. What more can you want for a much-needed relaxing vacation?!
Overall great experience

This was our first time at a resort and we really enjoyed all of it. The atmosphere is very quiet and calming away from the beach area. The variety of restaurants was nice, especially the World Cafe which you can go into anytime and are open late. The bar near the beach was always fast and good drinks. We really enjoyed the different shows they had each night. The food outside of the specialty restaurants was ok, it was fine. You cannot expect top notch food at a buffet, but it was fine. The French, Italian, and Seaside Grill each had much better food and the items we ordered for room service was pretty good as well. My wife has a gluten allergy and they asked at every restaurant about allergies, and they were able to accommodate her very well. She had zero issues. The only real complaint is when we arrived in our room you could smell it had just been sprayed for bugs. We opened the balcony door and it cleared out pretty quick and was fine the rest of the week. Beds are just ok, would have preferred a queen bed and they are a little worn out. The drive from the airport to the resort took a lot longer than we anticipated but we had folks from 2 other resorts that got dropped off before us so that took time. It was a long drive there after flying. Overall it was a really great experience.
Nice property, BAD food.

Property is older, it’s well kept for the most part. Food was terrible. Service/staff average. 2 pools(can’t use after 7pm), 2 bars (close at 11) 1 late night bar in an extremely loud night club(open til 1am) Lack of entertainment and things to do other than sit at the pool/beach was surprising. No recreation room/game room/sports bar. Only half the restaurants open nightly and long wait times for dinner unless you wanted the buffet. Would return to the area, but would stay elsewhere.
