My friends and I had a great experience!! We were welcomed with a refreshing non-alcoholic drink each time we came in and the staff were very friendly and attentive in the lobby and restaurants overall. Service to our room was a little slow, so be sure to call well in advance or just walk down to the lobby. It's small enough that everything is easily accessible, but large enough that nothing is really overcrowded. We weren't able to visit Bella as it was too busy at the time we were available, but we heard it was very good so make your reservations as early as possible if you want to go at a specific time. There were enough other food options to keep us fed, though, and the items overall were good. If you don't like the options they have though, or want to explore beyond the resort, they are walking distance from the main strip that has lots of food, shopping, and entertainment. The resort also had a silent disco and foam party that were really fun. They have an on-site photographer that will take your photos for the duration of your stay if you want, and ours came out beautifully. They also have a tranquil pool if you just want to relax and be away from the noise and music near the beach area. That pool is also near the sushi bar. If you want a fun kid-free stay at a great price, I highly recommend!

Hotel was not the most glamorous from the street when dropped off from the airport. But was EXCELLENT from that point forward! Met with a drink. Bags taken until room became ready. Staff throughout - and I mean THROUGHOUT- was exceptional! All so VERY respectful and polite. I've been everywhere & never seen any place with such wonderful people!!!! Food was excellent. Beer SUCKS.......not their fault! Other drinks were great and they kept coming! The hours at the 'buffet' style dining were perfect. The Mexican, Italian, and Grille 'specialty' restaurants were EXCELLENT. You need to make reservations but can go every night if you wish! Pool was great - no issue getting seating. Beach wasn't so good - although they worked their asses off clearing the seaweed daily! Rooms were large and comfortable. Very nice tile & marble. A/C was sufficient, no complaint. We would absolutely return - everything was that satisfying. Oh, the nitely entertainment was average. They try extremely hard to please patrons!!! This resort was recommended to us from our new neighbors. They've been 4-5 times. They were spot on!!!!

We had the best time at the Wyndham Alltra Playa Del Carmen. The food was great, no problem getting reservations for the restaurants. The pool was great,no trouble getting pool loungers. The pizza by the pool was very tasty. The snack bar was awesome when you needed a little snack. There are many shops and a mall just a short walk from the resort. Walmart is in walking distance. We pan on returning for another week in the future

We’ve been to this resort a number of times. It is our perfect getaway because the resort is amazing and right in the heart of Playa del Carmen. We’ve been to the best and worst resort flying into Cancun. For the price, The Wyndham Alltra Playa Del Carmen is the best bargain for your pesos!
