We had a great time at a great location on the beach and a block off of 5th ave. Edgar was diligent to watch while my husband snorkelled and spear fished off shore. Aaron and the other bellboys that guard the entrance were great to guide, to send us off with great kindness and concern and to welcome us back with a hug. I wish I remembered more names. Sorry guys. You were all so great! Compliments to the cleaning staff and their manager and a special hello to Adrianna. Great beds and best ever bedding and technique of bed making. White spacious clean rooms with walk in closets. Impeccable restaurant service by so many staff and accommodating hosts. Thankyou Victor, Mirna ….. It hurts to not be able to remember more names because you all were so cheerful and made each day a joy to come to your restaurants. The food was sometimes inconsistent but who cares when you have so many amazing options. Same for drinks. So great to have no shortage of bacon and poached eggs every morning. Coffee bar was just so delightful with such warm service. Loved the generosity of pool towels and room towels. Overall, this resort was generous in spirit and we could feel the warmth. A great place to spend a month in the charm of a vibrant Mexican city.

Excellent location , 5 mins walk from bustling 5th Avenue, but quiet outlook from hotel over ocean and bay. We upgraded to ocean view suite, well worth the extra money to see the sunrise from your bed each morning. Hotel restaurants were faultless, always plenty of choice and variety in buffet restaurant, breakfast choice was outstanding! The italian, mexican & steak restaurants within the hotel were authentic and 5* quality. The rooms were cleaned daily to very high standard, clean bedding and towels each day, and having separate towels for pool use is very useful. Every single staff member was friendly & helpful from the entertainment team ( Ari & David in particular), the smiley bar staff and pool bar waiters ( Jamie was always so friendly & happy and Miguel was so attentitive , a genuine lovely man ), the housekeeping staff always friendly along with reception staff. They all obviously love working at the hotel and are a credit to the management. There is entertainment daily around the lively pool which you can watch from the quiet pool or pool bar, never pressured to join in, but good fun to watch. Nice idea having salsa & guacamole making lessons to join in, and the pool foam party is a must, all ages joined in. We have been to playa del carmen before, and this hotel was the best one by far. We will be back as soon as we can.

Perfect stay! Another great experience, service and the best view from my room!! Thank you for making our vacation very enjoyable!! Very easy and accessible for people to get around like my husband has hard time to walk long distance, this hotel is perfect!! Food excellent, coffee ?? delicious, all bar tenders amazing! I invite my cousin from Ontario to join as in this hotel and her and her husband were very happy ! Best food, location and service. Not a big beach but 10 minute walk to public beach. Proximity to 5th ave and ferry to Cozumel makes it worthwhile. Service is outstanding. Has Italian, Mexican and Steak restaurants. All of them were amazing. The coffee shop is such a nice touch and had the best iced carmel cappuccino I have ever had. The rooms are dated and although they clean them very well, they do not look new or fresh but bedding is new and beds are comfortable. There is a small fitness room. There is also an ATM machine. The travel agents in the hotel have every excursion you can think of and the Catamaran snorkel trip to Isla Majeres is worth the $149 US. I really can’t say enough about this place. This was my second stay here and I will return.
