I stayed at this resort because a friend of mine was getting married. I felt safe the entire time we were there as the security checkpoint was about 10 minutes from the vicinity of the resort and the second gate checked for our information. The views were pretty and the staff was more than generous with accommodating my food allergies/offering information. You do have to constantly ask if they have gluten free/dairy free options even if you already had told the person seating you. The food itself was very average and I wasn't impressed. A few of my friends got food poisoning from the hamburgers and the meat looked inedible. The resort itself is outdated. There is paint chipping and cracks along the exterior. The pool tiles look corroded and outdated. Our fan in our room, when turned on, smelled like burning plastic that we couldn't use it. Upon arrival our right sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. The room itself always felt wet and humid that any snacks we kept inside went stale. We stayed at the adults only pool, but there really wasn't much else division with screaming kids around. We previously stayed at a much nicer resort a few days prior for the same price in playa del carmen and we would choose that one over this one again.

Really enjoy this resort. It’s on the smaller side which is what we were looking for. It still offers many great restaurants & a bunch of fun activities. The lazy river & zip line are great fun, and our kids enjoyed the Master Chef experience. Shoutout to Miguel & the entertainment team. Also to Sarah & Christian for keeping us refreshed poolside.

Alex of the entertainment team and Edwardo,Cure the chef made the sushi class an awesome experience. They showed us how to make the rolls from start to finish. We laughed and then ate our creation. Thanks for a great experience.
