No hot water in a 5 star resort
S K on Nov 23, 2024
Terrible experience in the resort. We are still here, however 3 days in a row now we don’t have a hot water in the room. We called Guest Services numerous times, the only answer is they have a problem and are working to fix it. Today they told us it will be fixed in 20 minutes, then in 30 minutes, then they stopped answering the phone. We waited for 2 hours and they never fixed the problem. We don’t even know if we will ever have a hot water in the room until we are still here. We have never had such a problem anywhere! This is supposed to be a 5 star resort and is very expensive. I hope the H 10 Hotel management will read the review and will be informed of this issue.
Wonderful 11 night stay

We’re on our last night staying at this lovely hotel where the staff can’t do enough for you. Manzo and his team in the El Baso restaurant are just amazing working so hard to ensure you’re well looked after. A shout out to Ricardo who ensures your glass is never empty around the pool. The rooms are large and are equipped with everything you need for your stay. They’re cleaned everyday and fresh towels left. One real plus is the bracket keys as this saves you worrying about carrying a key card ?? Great selection of food and drink with plenty of options from formal dining to a burger bar. We stayed in the adults only section which was lovely and quiet around the pool however there were plenty of other pools to chose from should you wish for your stay to be a little more lively. Yes there is a privilege section but for what they were charging to upgrade I certainly wouldn’t bother. The beach is only a few steps away and yea there was a lot of seaweed after the storms we experienced but the staff work really hard to clear this up. We’ve travelled to many hotels within the Caribbean but this one we feel was the best value for money to date. Come with an open mind and you won’t be disappointed. We had a great time and would return at the right price.
Great week at Ocean Coral and Turquesa

Spent a week here as a couple and very much enjoyed it. Stayed in an El Beso (adults only) room. It was recently renovated (building 3) and honestly probably the nicest room I’ve had at an all-inclusive at this level. Nothing super fancy, but a comfortable king bed, all very clean, good AC, and spacious with a nice view to the ocean from the 4th floor. Only minor issue was that a couple times hot water was non-existent. But I’m guessing this was just at high-demand times and it came back before too long. Overall the resort is very well-maintained, clean and nicely laid out. It’s not that big, and yet never felt over-crowded. Great selection of pools, each with a different vibe. We never had trouble finding pool seats somewhere, despite the early-morning towel planters. Seating on the beach was more limited. And the beach is nice in this area - very little surf and great sand. The hotel does a good job of clearing the seaweed. The food was probably the only real weakness. It wasn’t bad by any means, but just not great (and I mean by all-inclusive standards - so I have realistic expectations). The buffet was decent but could have used more variety from day-to-day. Tip: for breakfast, the space that serves as the Italian restaurant for dinner is open for the buffet for breakfast. It is quieter but also has better air conditioning. And the servers here seem a notch above those in the main buffet area. The burgers at Ocean Burger were surprisingly good as a poolside lunch option. Route 66 had some good bbq and is open all night long. But the speciality restaurants were below par. Like many other reviewers have said, Mike’s coffee bar is a great stop for a coffee, sweet snack or quick sandwich. Overall the staff were friendly, albeit sometimes not exactly enthusiastic. But we always got what we needed without any issue. Victor was great at the buffet breakfast - attentive but not intrusive. And “sexy Gustavo” at the swim-up bar provided great service and a fun personality. So overall: very well-maintained and good facilities and a great room. Just manage your expectations on the food and you’ll have a fun time.
Stunning paradise

Paradise. First time going to Mexico from the UK, and loved every minute. The staff are all amazing, the food is good with different restaurant options, the room was big, clean, comfortable, and my hubby over 6ft didn't have any complaints about the size of the bed. Seaweed washes up - but hey - who can control nature! - but the hotel clear the Seaweed daily so doesn't impact your stay. Gutted to be home
Hospitality is a 10/10 and the best tequila tasting experience

At this place they are the best in hospitality and service especially Jocsan from the service desk! The rooms are pretty big and have a nice view over the ocean and its own beach. The restaurants are pretty good and especially the tequila tasting is a nice experience and well quided by there own tequila specialist Jesus!
