Don’t come here spend the bit extra and go somewhere else

First I had reserved a romantic dinner for 85$ cad the dinner was interrupted by a bunch of raccoons and I was served sea food even though I had said I’m allergic second we had a big problem with employees miscommunication they booked us for closed places restaurants that where not even open we spent hours getting ready just to not even be able to eat today I was supposed to be getting a compensation dinner for the dinner that was ruined by the raccoons and other stuff I will get into more detail later but they had told us everyone apart of my group “7 people including me” would be getting the surf and turf we all showed up and the food started coming out but just started with steak we thought the lobster would come out after because the woman at guest services told us that’s what we would be getting but one of the managers came over and explained that wasn’t going to happen because lobster was extra charge we explained everything to him and he did not seem to care about what we said even giving us looks as if we were delusional my whole family was disappointed because I had told them they were getting lobster and they all left my girlfriend and I can’t even get compensation for the screwed up dinner we got and now we and all that money down we payed 1400$ each to come to this horrible place I would have at least liked to know about the raccoon problem because I understand that they have wildlife but they never said it would be so bad to the point where half the time I was shewing off the raccoons and didn’t get to eat absolutely horrible service don’t waste your money here
Fun 10 days..i would return

Just returned from a 10 day vacation here and from check in to check out the hotel was perfect. lot of food and drink choices and the hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist. A big shout out to Poncho at the ElBeso restaurant and to Idaiia and Jazmin at the lobby bar for their greats service. All of the staff were amazing, i wish i could remember all of your names. The room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. We did the ElBeso side and it suited our needs perfectly. We walked to a nearby town and that was fun and we also did a Sunset Cruise and a free shopping tour..we all had a great time. If i had to say one negative thing about the hotel it would be to stay away from Kristen who works out of the lobby area and sets up meetings to get guests to purchase time at the hotel. Dont be fooled by his charm, he lied to us regarding the rewards for attending the meetings and then lied several more times trying to cover up the lies. Thanks Ocean Coral and Turquesa
