Our Go To place to stay in San Diego...try to always book a corner room with a harbor view. Some of the areas have been recently updated and do look a bit more modern. The restaurant and bars are excellent, the pool area is large and offer nice views as well. We were entertained by one of the bartenders who had us try a variety of spirits just for the experience...of course we paid... The hotel is in an Excellent location, walking distance to any place on the harbor, even down to the Padres stadium if you have a bit of energy...not as close to it as a couple of others but for the hotel quality and distances to so many small stores and the Midway and the harbor concert area, where you can sit in a lot of areas adjacent to the concert "stadium" and listen to the current music being performed. You can then walk safely back to a number of hotels or restaurants but do be aware that there could be some homeless folks circulating the harbor area. All in all, it remains our Go to primarily due to the location and variety services and rooms offered.

The Manchester Grand Hyatt is located next to Seaport Village, 10 min walk to the Gaslamp district or Midway. Its prime location on the bay makes for dreamy and amazing views. We would just stand by the windows gazing at the Coronado Island, ships, boats, jet skis and other water sports. Top of the Hyatt is a must visit while you are there. Views at night are magical. The staff are top notch and made us feel so welcome. There was some construction going on for the pool area and it will be top notch when it is done. The lobby is impressive and the room we stayed in was recently remodeled, very clean and modern lines. I would give this place a higher rating if I could.

Very clean and top tier hotel with everything you could want. Several great restaurants on site with many others close by. Lots of enjoyable activities within walking distance. A great place to stay for business or pleasure.

Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego is a premier spot to stay. The rooms have been updated and are clean and modern with views views views. The staff at the front desk were efficient, friendly and accommodating. The bellman (Joel) was terrific and continued to ask if there was anything more needed. The housekeeping staff worked quickly to get our rooms ready from a sold out Saturday night. Will be down again!!!
