This review is long overdue. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world and stay at some phenomenal hotels. This is one of my all time favorites. It’s classic and classy and the service is absolutely excellent.The food is excellent.Housekeeping is excellent. The grounds are beautifully kept. The cabanas are fabulous. The beach is beautiful. The casino is awesome.The Carnival Cruise atmosphere is nowhere to be found. They missed the mark on nothing. We had a smaller group business trip and they hit it out of the park. If you’re looking to book a trip for your company, this is the hotel you want. A special thank you to Josue at the beautiful lobby bar.I have never had anyone make me a drink with that much care and passion for their craft. He made the best Negroni I’ve ever had or will have. Have him make you a drink and listen to him tell you the history of different cocktails. It’ll be one of your favorite memories of this place, I promise.

Hotel is beautiful and gives the feeling of elegance and classic elegance. The ambiance is stunning and staff are helpful. A 5 star review to Laura in the restaurant overlooking the pool. Friendly, well informed as to menu, area and hotel. Made our stay memorable.

Had a great time! Just wanted to send a shoutout to Efraim and all the guys at the pool bar (didnt catch all of their names but they were equally awesome!) Enjoyed all the “Mezcal Surprise” cocktails ?? Beach was lovely, pool was great. Lobby was super vibey. Wish the music was a little louder and lasted longer on DJ days, but I understand not every guest appreciates that so it’s for sure a balance. Room was a lil dirty, tv was kinda glitchy, but honestly it was fine - the resort is still trying to recover from hurricanes and covid so I think things will get better in time. We will be back!

I visited the Fairmont for a “Sushi Fest.” I was visiting a friend from the U.S. and absolutely fell in love with the hotel. It has gorgeous pool and a nice beach, a great casino with live dancers in feathery outfits, and beautiful Christmas decorations. There was also an upscale “Meat Market” restaurant and bar. I didn’t eat at it, but we ordered drinks and it was a great vibe. The club we went to for Sushi Fest was called “Brava.” If I was visiting with my husband and needed a hotel, this would be the top of my list. I highly recommend!

We stayed in this hotel in February in a room with mold and had very poor service. The hotel offered us four nights to return as guests of the hotel. While the room was much cleaner, there was a large blood stain on the bed. You can find rooms without mold and without blood for much less than the $550 charged for this problematic experience.
