Fabulous Visit

We love this hotel and the staff. The beach is so beautiful and the pool area is well maintained and staffed. Our room could use an overhead light but is otherwise quite nice. The breakfast is our least favorite part of the stay so don’t pay for it. You can get breakfast sandwiches a short walk from the hotel. For us it was included so we went but the quality and selection of the food is not great.
Relaxing Getaway

Repeat visitor. The facility is beautiful, very convenient from the airport and right on the beach. Very relaxing getaway destination. People are wonderful and always trying to be helpful. Convenient to Old San Juan, restaurants, and activities or plenty to do at the resort. I'm sure we will return.
Cigarettes, Mold and Beans in an Elevator
Yalmoj on Jan 10, 2025
This hotel bills itself as a “Fairmont”, which to me exudes a trustworthy brand that I can count on to be a seamless, comfortable and almost luxurious experience. It was not. On the contrary, the staff was lazy (and Im being kind), the hotel was moldy, wet and dirty, the prices for alcohol and food was outrageous, - The windows had not been washed in months and were barely transparent. - The carpets in the hallways and room smelled like cigarettes, mold and beans. - The shower had barely hot water and the pressure of a light mist. - The beds were Holiday inn quality. - We had a King with a patio overlooking the casino roof which displayed 3 weeks of trash thrown from higher floors and ignored. I particularly enjoyed the wet Marlboro Red package that seemed to survive rain, sun and all climates. - Upon departure, it seemed fitting that the elevator got stuck for 15 minutes at 5 am - power outage or outdated technology- unclear. The silver lining was the pool bar and bartenders / attentive and lovely. Wont be back and my 50 year view of Fairmont has been permanently soiled; shame.
past its prime

I was disappointed in the hotel and all it has. This hotel is way past its prime. While the lobby and initial presence is great the remainder of the property is a disappointment. The doors and are are dirty and in disrepair. The AC is basically cooling with no dehumidification . The prices for the alcohol and food are not within the normal range .I would chose a different accommodations
Family friendly beautiful hotel

Best possible family vacation. Lovely hotel that is dated in some ways but their pool and beach and historic lobby with the most incredible chandelier above the bar make for a great time. We spent much time at the pool and the bartenders at the swim up bar were kind and attentive. Shout to Efrain who always greeted us with a smile.
