The Spa...excellent. The Plum Tree bar and grill... great service. Overall the staff helpful and friendly.Grounds are well kept and flowers are in bloom throughout. The safe in the room required a key and none was available,when i inquired if i was supposed to walk around with my passport i was told" if you wish to". Make sure you walk with proof of payment for your stay...I paid in advance in January and when checking out the front desk clerk insisted i owed them. I had to produce my credit card statement ... seems to be some lapse in accounting.Very embarrassing.. The buggy service is not available before 7 AM so if you have an early flight , as we did, fetch your bags yourself. Long lines at times for breakfast, grab a coffee from shop next to restaurant before joining line.

Just returned from a fortnight at SJC and our experience was great. ALL the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel, gardens, pools and beach well kept. Our room was well serviced. Food and drink was varied and plentiful. Water sports great fun. Day trips out to the Volcano, the Rain Forest, Hotel Chocolat, Pigeon Point , Marigot Bay, etc, etc all excellent. Thank you everyone at St James's Club, we shall return!

What an amazing place this gorgeous, authentic resort really is. From the evening we arrived to the moment we got picked up, the staff are faultless. So so welcoming. So many different excursions to take part in. Or a lovely beach to just relax and recharge on. Highly recommend doing Joy’s cruise, you’re taken by boat around the island to see the Sulphur pools/ beautiful waterfalls and then given lunch at joys house, surrounded by beautiful plantation. The colours in joys garden are just something else. The guys on the boat definitely know how to entertain, their energy was unreal and knowledge of St Lucia was exactly what this trip needed. Oh and if you like rum Punch your be sure to have plenty on the route back. The horse back riding is a must do, most definitely the high light of our stay in St Lucia. You are picked and my taxi and taken to the international pony club which is situated in Rodney Bay, once you meet and greet your horse you are taken by a guide ( which all experienced riders ) through the hills and down onto a beach. Then the magic happens, you’re taken by guide bareback on your horse into the sea up to the death that you’re comfortable with. Totally majestical … We would like to especially mention Salma for taking away any of our stresses, Gizelle, Alison and Calrissa to name just a few of the team that made our stay extra special. The entertain team’s energy was on point, always encouraging and including everyone in the activities. The food for non vegetarians was delicious, plenty to choose from, if you have special dietary requirements I suggest pre planning ahead of your stay. Lots of fresh fish on all of the menus, Blue Merlín and Mahi Mahi to name a couple which was great to try. I highly recommend visiting the smoothie bar at breakfast, Hannah makes the tastiest smoothies. We can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful all of the staff are and how hard each and everyone of them works making your stay even more special. We read lots of mixed reviews about this resort but decided we needed to go and make our own mind up and truly we was not disappointed. If the world wasn’t such a big place with so many amazing places to visit we would most certainly go back here. Jo and Tracy

Stayed at SJC for three weeks this past January and it was awesome, this is the best property, its not too big and is easy to get around. the staff made you feel like home and the food and drinks were great . a special shout out to the hardworking water sports crew namely Shane, Bobby ,Al and Strech whose attitude was laughter and fun every day. everyone on staff including bartenders,concierge, dinner reservations, bellman and front desk were amazing and very very helpful throughout. sincerely miss MJ and Lorne.....hope to see you next January

Visited 13 - 20 November 22 for our wedding anniversary (all inclusive) Nice location but let down by shortages of drinks and restrictions on dining Always running out of Baileys and even beer on occasion Staff on reception very poor and individuals around bars etc give it a very poor service Definitely wouldn’t go back
