Amazing experience!

Amazing experience at Coconut Bay! The staff have gone out of their way to look after me and my family. Very helpful and accommodating experience from check-in to checkout. The entertainment throughout the day into the night has also been great with many fun and some competitive activities - shout out to Elzea for being a class act in organising these!

Family of 4

We just left this amazing resort. I will break it down for you in sections: Staff: There are places we have traveled with nice staff that you can tell they take pride in their work. But the staff here are genuinely good people. I feel like the hiring process must focus on hiring people who will represent not only the resort but the kindness of St Lucia Location : yes it’s on the Atlantic side so the beach isn’t as calm as the Caribbean side but a daily shuttle is provided to take you a short distance to calmer water. Not a big deal Activities: small petting zoo (so sweet), water slides. I must add out. Holden are great swimmers but we always felt like we needed to be in the pool with them. But the main pool with a swim up bar is about 3 feet so we could feel safe with them going in alone. Also the lazy river is cute. Food: 100 percent the best all inclusive food we have ever had. Flavor in every bite. Calabash in particular was my favorite. Breakfast is in stations including local options (try the pineapple pepper sauce thank me later). Flip Flops is the late night fast food sort of spot which is also open during the day. Can’t say enough about the chicken wings!!! Cons: we had a concierge room with a cellphone to our agent which was amazing. I mention the room class because it’s the highest they have on the Splash family section and it still needed work. The room itself was clean and spacious my issue was the bathroom. Luke warm showers and the window in the bathroom didn’t close all the way so killing tiny bugs were a daily occurrence. The house keeper would spray outside our room as well. Even with the cons I would recommend this place to any family and would return. Additional tips: hire a driver to go to the other side of the island. Make sure they stop at Thomazo for the best bread you will ever have. We had it plan, with salt fish and one with cheese amazing!!! Also put last meal on the island was at Mama Tilly’s there is nothing fancy about this place but the food! Mama Tilly’s service!! Unmatched. If you need a driver hire Raj he was he best +1 (758) 518-9224 Thank you for the best time

The People Make The Place

Lauren P on Jul 25, 2026

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in July and absolutely loved it. The resort was beautiful and we enjoyed the food and drinks. We did excursions booked through the main lobby and would highly recommend, as it gave us a chance to see the beautiful island. However, the most memorable part of our trip was the staff working there. Specifically Kimona, Nick, and Joe made our vacation so fun and we are so grateful to have met them! We would absolutely go back to this resort.

We had a fantastic time! The staff are terrific and super helpful. The facilities are excellent. And there is plenty to do for all ages. A special shout out to Ciara, Jerry, and Po at the petting zoo. We loved the animals.

A Fun-Filled Family Stay at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa

Ballysingh31 (Southampton, United Kingdom) on Jul 22, 2026

We stayed at Coconut Bay Resort for 7 nights as a family of four and had a really enjoyable holiday. The resort is just 10 minutes from the airport, with complimentary airport transfers included, making arrival and departure incredibly easy. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. There was a great programme of daily activities, so there was always something going on. A special shout-out from Isher and Simran to Akai and the entire entertainment team. You were all amazing and made our holiday so much fun. From beach volleyball and water polo to dance competitions and all the other games, you kept everyone entertained all week. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable! The resort is split into two sections: Harmony (adults only) and Splash (family area). We stayed in Splash, which is ideal for families. It has a water park with two slides and a lazy river, a large family pool, an activities pool, tennis courts, a football pitch, a beach football area and even a small animal sanctuary. We also enjoyed spending time at The Cove, which has pool tables and table tennis, the pool bar, and the Paradise Beach Bar, which has a much more relaxed atmosphere as fewer people venture down there. Food & Drink There are plenty of dining options. The snack bar serves burgers, wings, wraps and made-to-order pizzas, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. We also enjoyed Tree Tops for its jerk chicken and jerk pork, and the buffet restaurant offered breakfast, lunch and a variety of themed dinners. We ate at Calabash, the Caribbean restaurant. As the only vegetarian in the family, I found the chickpea curry a little lacking in flavour. While there were vegetarian options available, after five days the choices became quite repetitive, with lots of pizza, bread, cheese and vegetables. It would be great to see more protein-rich vegetarian dishes added to the menus. The vegan burger at the snack bar was excellent, so incorporating something similar into the themed restaurants—for example, on Mexican night—would provide more variety. The drinks were excellent, with a good selection of premium brands available. For anyone planning to dine in the à la carte restaurants, the dress code is a collared shirt or polo shirt with smart shorts or trousers and closed-toe shoes. All the other restaurants have a casual dress code. Rooms The Splash rooms are currently being renovated. We stayed in a family room with two king-size beds, which was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom and shower felt a little dated. Having just one bathroom and toilet was manageable, but with two teenagers we'd probably opt for two rooms next time. Our room was an interconnecting room, and noise from the neighbouring room could be heard through the connecting door. This is something we've experienced in other hotels too, rather than being unique to this resort. Future guests may benefit from the ongoing renovations and refreshed rooms. Beach If spending lots of time on the beach is your priority, it's worth knowing that the resort is on the Atlantic coast, where seaweed can sometimes make swimming less enjoyable. However, the hotel runs a complimentary shuttle twice daily to a beach on the Caribbean side, which is a nice alternative. Overall Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday. The facilities are excellent, the entertainment was one of the highlights of the trip, and the staff genuinely made us feel welcome. I'd happily recommend Coconut Bay to families, especially those with children. My only real criticism would be the limited variety of protein-rich vegetarian meals, as the options became quite repetitive during a week-long stay.
