Overall nice hotel, good food, good staff, the valet service was great. I never waited a second thanks to Alex! Hotel is in a good central spot where you can walk to everything. Very pretty view no matter where you’re looking. A little bit of construction around but personally it didn’t bother me

I booked this through a package and never expected such a gorgeous, gorgeous hotel, in a prime location. One of the highlights of the stay, however, was bartender SaraBeth. Her espresso martinis were good enough to take me off the beach front.

First time visiting the West coast of Florida and enjoyed it very much. AC hotel wasn't far from Tampa airport so we stayed her for 2 nights. Very nice area, beach, staff, brreakfast. Room was great overlooking the water. Weather only low 70's but sat poolside anyway. Would return again.

Last year we stayed at AC Hotel in Clearwater. We loved it while there but unfortunately a hurricane hit, and they asked us to vacate the hotel. I used 3 free night certificates and paid for one night. They took my money and I have been trying to get them to reinstate my Free night certificates since last June for we did not stay there the last two nights due to the Hurricane. Left 14 messages, spoke to the assistant manager who said he would get back to me that day, which was last week. I am a Gold Elite Customer which apparently means nothing to the Marriot organization. Very frustrating to not get a response on free nights I earned from staying many nights at Marriot Hotels. Will spend my money on Hilton Hotels moving forward.

An Apply Air Tag tracker was taped to my car on the premises while parked in the valet on my first night (they do not let you park your own car). My iPhone notified me that I was being tracked after picking up my car in the morning (there was no indication of being tracked earlier than that). Later that day, I found an Apple Air Tag taped to my wheel well. I brought my concerns to the attention of the manager and he acted as if he had never heard of anything like this happening and allegedly they do not have camera footage they can check in the garage. He never offered to call the police or do anything to help the fact that he had a guest who was extremely uncomfortable in his hotel.
I asked politely if I could check out and get my remaining nights refunded and the manager made a call to his "boss" saying "The people who found the tracker on their car want to dip out early" giving no other context. He was in no way helpful at all. I spoke with a manager the following day and I got the same run around that they could not refund me, but they can offer me 1,500 points..... which is about $18.
Until my boss called and ripped them apart, they refused to cooperate. When I went in for a receipt showing my refund, they complained that they wouldn't be able to turn the room that night (after asking 3 times to check out before 11 AM). This place is a joke, do not stay here unless you want to deal with shady management.
