Spent 10 days there with friends.
Pros: The room was clean, and pillows wonderful. The evenings shows were fun. The beach was beautiful, and it was always easy to find recliners and a shady spot on sunny days. Friendly staff.
Cons: while the coffee in the coffee bar was delicious, the espresso machine broke down daily. The hot tub was out of commission. There were springs sticking out of the mattress. The food, while plentiful, was truly, incredibly awful (except for Cuban day when it was delicious; only one Cuban lunch, unfortunately). Plenty of alcohol, but no pop/soda to mix with it.
Amazing Time at Brisas

This is our 4th trip to Brisas del Caribe. We will keep coming back. We fell in love with the staff. Everyone becomes family. We have been very lucky to have been invited into the Mariner restaurant almost every night for supper. The staff is so special to our family. They are my sisters and brothers. The head cook Ileana is an amazing cook she puts her whole heart into everything she does. She is my sister. The other staff in this restaurant are completely amazing as well. Yoennys is a very hard working man. He is so sweet, he gets us anything we want. There is also another girl who works in this room I did not catch her name but she is totally amazing as well. I will be back to Brisas.

As we return home from another fantabulous week with our Cuban friends and family. Brrr it is cold at home. We have all had a fantastic time with you all again. The best staff around. Miss you all already. Rooms are clean never went hungry... staff are the best. Can't wait to get back. Even with some shorts in some areas still lots to eat and drink.

The staff at this resort are hands down the best. We were dealing with some mobility issues and some significant food allergies. Douglas (the bell hop) went out of his way to drive us to the bus stop with his golf cart and even came and rescued me from it one day when i couldn't walk back from it. Before our arrival i contacted Maikel at customer relations to speak about the food concerns we had given my friends severe allergies and my mobility issues. Maikel and the Brisas team Cenin, Zuyin, Meydis, and Yisel made sure we were well taken care of. Room close to the elevator as well as an al la carte option for our friend daily. They would check on us daily to make sure everyone was taken care of and our friend had the food she needed. Ariadna and her team of housekeepers were incredible as well and always very willing to get anything you need as soon as they could. What would a Brisas morning be without Jorge and his omelets, singing and kisses. So good! If you love coffee go see Maladys over at the beach snack bar she still makes the best coffee. And i can't forget Agustin and Ivan , we had so much fun with them as well as great drinks and snacks. These guys also go out of their way to do the best they can . We've been to Brisas 4 times and will definitely be back. What amazing staff!
Our second home - Lots of heart

We are frequent visitors to this resort. We consistently recommend this resort to everyone who will listen The staff are like are family. Sure the resort has some short comings and is experiencing massive shortages but they try their best to
keep their guests happy. Maikel the hospitality Manager is the guiding light of the resort. He has gone over and above even on his day off. He has never let us down on any issue and always under promises and over performs. The bar staff - Felix/ Victor/Omar/Augustine - incredible even though they face rude guests and gruelling 6 day a week / 12hr plus shifts. They are always smiling and go out of their way to make us feel at home.
A shout out to the singing omelette man (Cant remember his name but always welcomes us in the AM with his charm and song )and Big Momma, she has heart and makes things happen in the kitchen. Always an experience at Brisas and looking forward to our return later this winter.
