I recently stayed at this resort, and while I didn’t expect luxury, given that I was in Cuba and aware of the current situation, what I experienced was unacceptable. I wasn’t looking for high-quality food or drinks, but at the very least, I expected cleanliness and basic amenities to be in working order. For ex, we couldn’t close the door to our room properly—it took pushing it multiple times just to get it to close, and even then, it felt insecure. When we called reception to address this, they told us there were no other rooms available, leaving us stuck with the issue. On top of that, the shower was a complete disaster, making it difficult to properly freshen up. Cleanliness was another major concern. There were flies all over the food, especially on the bread, and no one seemed to care. The cutlery was broken, and there were often no proper utensils available. Tables had no tissues, and staff were cleaning the tables while we were still eating, without considering the guests. Safety was also overlooked, with people walking into the hotel from the beach with wet clothes, making the floors slippery, and yet no safety warnings or signs were put up.These are basic issues that can’t be excused by saying Cuba is going through tough times—this is about cleanliness and guest care, which should be standard in any hotel. That said, at least we had the sea and a nice view outside, which we enjoyed. But, unfortunately, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. I’ve attached some photos to show the state of things during our stay. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone, and I wouldn’t return.

Ants everywhere in the room.food was really bad. People are super nice Wifi sucked. Front desk not very helpful but the rest of the staff are very nice. Great coffees. I don't think that I would go back even though the beach is absolutely phenomenal
