We just returned from Sandals Grande St Lucia, we had a wonderful time. I wanted to recognize a few people who we encountered that put our trip over the top by providing exceptional service and always brightened our day. Junior was our server a few times, he always had the brightest smile on his face and recognized us anywhere we were throughout our stay. Beverly made sure we were always taken care of by the pool and always had a few minutes to stop and talk, Daisy filled in when Beverly was out or on break and provided exceptional service as well always with a positive attitude. Princes and Kareem "The Dream" in the Sandals reward office were so helpul and professional and made us really feel part of the Sandals family. The resort/location is beautiful but it's the people that you meet that can make your stay exceptional and that is why I wanted to mention these people who really added to our stay and made it special.

This was our first visit to the property, but our 3rd Sandals trip. Overall we really enjoyed this place. The layout was relatively easy to navigate. The restaurants and food were good. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist. PROS: Great pools, decent gym, beach access is very easy, good variety of restaurants with good food, spa staff and amenities were good as well. The catamaran excursion to the hot springs/waterfall/snorkeling was AWESOME. Highly recommend. Justice was a great tour guide and was very comical and a good host. All the food was phenomenal. There was a large variety to suite all dining needs. The wait staff was always enjoyable and provided good experiences during meals. The Sandals staff were all amazing. They would always inquire about our needs and fulfill any issues. They were more than willing to address problems. They housekeeping staff kept our room immaculate, and came a couple times throughout the day. The rest of the hotel was very clean as well. CONS: Both outdoor bars were fairly close to each other and the main pool. This left the two other pool areas in a bit of a “bar drought”. Luckily there were quite a few staff members taking orders. This might not be an issue to those who don’t partake, but the main pool gets crowded early and you may find yourself at one of the smaller pools. The drive there was a bit far and kind of rough. Not much can be done about this, but if you get car sick or have long travel times it can be a factor. OVERALL: I would recommend this Sandals to anyone looking at the trip. The flights weren’t too bad, immigration at the airport moved smoothly, the Sandals Lounge at the airport was clean with awesome staff that got your transition to the resort going in a timely fashion. The resort was a great setting and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to talk with. The genuinely seemed happy we were there.
