Ok Stay

We love going on beach vacations for our annual getaways. We prefer to stay at luxury adults only resorts. This was our first time staying at a sandals. Beach: The beach position of this resort is unparalleled. Seeing the pitons views from the beach was great. We highly recommend renting a cabana Sanjay and Heather made our cabana stays well worth it. The two of them made our trip outstanding. If we ever return it’ll be because of them and the beach view. Room: We had honeymooners deluxe room which is the entry level room I believe and it suited our needs. Clean, well stocked, comfortable bed. No complaints the pictures don’t do it justice. Restaurants: Soy is hands down the best dining experience on the resort, follow by Kimono, Bombay and I think the crepe place. The worst hands down was Gordon’s and the Pizzeria. What didn’t we like? The nonstop upselling everything from having the spa people come to beach and pool asking you if you want a treatment. We went to the spa and let’s call the facility mediocre. They didn’t have a private cold water pool all they had was heated pool and steam room. If I’m dropping $500 why don’t you have special unique spa experience? Once your done with the treatment here they go pushing again $500 worth of product. Do yourself a favor skip the spa it’s nothing special. Another part I didn’t like was the photographers pushing for you to take photos and when you go to view the photos your only option is really to purchase the package with buying all photos and one print. How about offering different packages. Entertainment was ok nothing special. Drinks throughout the resort was ok as well. Super sweet and not luxury liquor. Bottom Line: I feel for the views this resort is worth it but 4-5 days is enough. Sandals has ability to tap into the millennial market as several of us have no children and are professionals seeking the luxury get a way experience. However they need to step up their business model and offer luxury. The food was regular, the drinks were nothing special, the spa was sub par. The reserving your seats with a towel by 6am doesn’t exude luxury. Offer true fine dining, offer luxury spa, have electronic seat reservation system and more umbrellas!
Paradise!

SOOO worth every penny!! The property is is GORGEOUS and the staff is AMAZING!! From the moment we stepped off the plane we were take care of. When the storms in the US kept us from traveling home as planned, the Club Sandals staff bent over backwards to make sure we could extend our stay. We will DEFINITELY be back!

My husband and I had the best trip to Sandals Grande. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Kelvin made sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was the best it could be! Not only was he accommodating, he was also very entertaining during the pool games!
Very disappointing…do not recommend!!!!

Paid for a honeymoon swim out and the pool and surrounding area was dirty, stained, old, and worn out, we weren't comfortable using it. The rooms were just as tired and outdated, dirty and tattered curtains, dirty sliding doors, old bathroom, worn out patio, etc. definitely not worth the money. Very disappointing. And this is after we moved rooms because of the musty smell and the a/c would not cool the original room. Had to beg for Jamaican coffee instead of Maxwell House. The staff ran carts back-and-forth in the corridor in front of our room from early morning until late at night daily, and we’re yelling at each other from one end of the corridor to the other. Very annoying. The beach was great, the food was good, and several of the staff were great…Shania was outstanding! The golf course was lacking in amenities, i.e., no bathroom on the back nine, advertised beverage cart showed up once in three days. The greens were good, the fairways were pretty rough. Staff was very nice! We brought the conditions of the swim out pool and room to the concierge staff and they let us know they were very aware of the issues, and had reported them to corporate multiple times. This doesn’t help the fact we paid way too much money for a room and resort of this caliber. We do not recommend you stay here. We also provided this information in our solicited review of the resort several days ago and have heard nothing back from corporate.
Five Star all the way!

One of the best Resort I have ever stayed in. Entertainment was great! Diving was excellent! All the staff made the experience memorable! They are very professional in their attention to detail and safety! They are also very knowledgeable! Beaches are beautiful!
