    The staff at the Hamilton Princes made sure our stay was a great one. Staying on the concierge floor you expect great service and they delivered! One of my favourites places of all time. You ask and they deliver !

    There are so few quality affordable hotels in Bermuda, and this one due, to its location (walking distance to all major businesses in Hamilton), is over the top expensive in relation to the quality of the stay. Despite the relatively recent multi million $$ renovation, the property is already showing clear signs of being “tired” and rests on its “location” for the business traveler. Now bear in mind you will be paying on average $400.00 to $600.00 a night. And that again is driven by market demand with so few, if any, options for a business class hotel. If this property was in Miami, New York , London, Boston etc. it would struggle to be close to competitive. Now location wise it is ideal for Hamilton and the views across the Harbour are amazing. General facilities are good, infinity pools, well appointed gym, impressive marina. But you don’t have to look too far to find mold on the A/C vents, overflowing ashtrays by the pool areas, used towels littering the decks, (presume a result of short staffing outside of the busy periods). Rooms comfortable enough albeit small for price , avoid staying in the main building unless you are on the concierge level or have stumped up the $800.00plus for a suite. Main building basic rooms tend to be the oldest in the property , walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors, just fingers crossed they are considerate. Overall service is good but not great, restaurants just “ok” food and drinks as you would expect are pricey. If this was priced at say $200-300 max it would be acceptable , but that will never happen, high occupancy rates with predominantly near unlimited expense budget business folks will keep this hotel purring along. My advice for couples and or families , give this a miss find a nice boutique hotel or head out to South Shore beach hotels or out to the west end and a stay at Cambridge Beaches resort for less money and a much better experience.

    We attended the Hamilton Princess art tour with Dana Cooper. Fantastic tour where Dana brought to life the artists and their work. Transported us into another world. Amazing art collection by the Green family and wonderful tour from Dana. Truly magical

    This is a pretty property. The rooms are fine and reasonable. Location is nice if you want to walk into town. Everything else is an expensive cab ride. I have never had worse service. Poolside it is a minimum of 25 minutes to get a drink. When you call the front desk nobody answers the phone. Seriously three times nobody answers the phone. We asked for a hairdryer two days in a row and never received it. The concierge Jaime was incredible and Miss Davis the jitney driver was a nightlight. The beach is amazing. But I have literally never stayed in a hotel with ZERO service. I stay in hotels 45-50 times a year and have had better service at a Best Western. The buffet is an absoute crime. Two of us with one cup of coffee as $92! Order a la carte and they are less than pleased because gratuity is included in everything. We will not come back here and recommend you look elsewhere if you expect any service. The concierge is amazing though!

    We spent a week at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time.

    The hotel grounds and buildings are beautiful. There are three restaurants that serve excellent meals. The staff are very friendly and eager to help and share important information about the island. We did a trip by ferry boat to the Royal Naval Dockyard and had a wonderful time. This was an expensive trip, but keep in mind that almost everything is imported. The weather was in the low eighty’s daily. This is truly a paradise!
