We have visited this resort so many times over the years. My wife has gone with a girlfriend, with a daughter and we have gone with other couples as well as just the two of us. We were at the resort in May 2023 but it was a little too hot. So this year we decided to get away from the April showers on Vancouver Island, BC and find some sun in Mexico for a week. This resort’s holiday all inclusive packages are usually priced very reasonably so when we see a good price we often jump on the deal. This time we upgraded to Oceanview which was worth the extra cost. We met our server Cruze again. He recognized us from last May. We now consider him as a friend/amigo. Cruze was working at the Thai Wok aka carte restaurant that we dined at several times. Cruze gave us such wonderful service and he is one of the reasons we will definitely go back to the resort. Jose Lomeli is captain of both the Thai Wok and Jap Jap restaurants. Jose runs very efficient restaurants while ensuring that the diners are well taken care of. Lots of the bartenders were fun to interact with while ordering our adult beverages. Thanks for another fabulous holiday!!

The resort is a 3 star and I’m keeping that in mind. It was clean, staff were great, food was good. The pools were gross. They don’t appear to be circulating the water so it is slimy and has stuff floating in it. On several occasions they were shut down due to an iguana pooping in the water! We tried to go for a late night snack and the restaurant just never opened and there was no staff to be found to ask why. The location is great! I love that we could just walk off the resort and be in Bucerius. MThere is a sports bar just down the street as well that was great for watching the playoffs. This is not our first time here, but I think it may be our last. The experience has gone down, with the price going up.

Solid 3 stars, very clean, great beach, staff very helpful. We have been here several times in the past 15 years. Got a great package for a week. The resort has been maintained, new paint and tiles in the room as well as a nee air conditioner that would freeze your butt off it you wanted it that cold. This is getting to be quiet season a d only a few of the restaurants were open each night, we managed to get reservations no problem. Food is good, yes it can be somewhat repetitive at the buffets but there is so many options you will find something to meet your requirement, we are big fruit and veggie folks and were not disappointed. Staaf were great, friendly, and worked hard to assist you with any thing you needed. Special thanks to Ruth our bartender at the adult quiet pool, Fabian at the front desk and all the maids who did an incredible job cleaning our unit rach day. This is not a high end resort but its clean, location on a fantastic beach make it an incredible value for us Canadians wanting a quick escape.

This was our second time here. We had an upgraded safe, we accidentally locked ourselves out of it halfway through and then tried all the default codes and none worked. We needed to wait until the next day (which was fine, we prepare for things like this) and a man came in and took the front off and used specialized technology to get in. It felt very secure. Security did enforce the "no reserving chairs" rule, by removing towels, so that was ok, we actually got chairs. We noticed so many reserving, then never showing up. One large group would reserve, then go on an excursion, to the frustration of others. So they started enforcing after someone complained on the fb page and that made it easier for those who showed up, to get loungers. *There could be more loungers but they are transitioning them out, so may take some time. The buffets have a good selection, average food, we did just fine eating there and rather enjoyed it. If the drinks are watered down, it sure isn't much, according to our liver reports. ?? I ran disinfectant cloths over several surfaces, including exterior handrails, they were amazingly clean. Our maid was wonderful. Any staff we encountered was wonderful, even dealing with some "towel reserve Karens" with a smile. The resort should be very pleased with those they have hired. As with many, even higher star resorts, the pillows were a bit wanting and the beds a bit hard but we still slept well. We paid a bit extra for a sea view and got it. They do their best in that regard. We were pleased with our room, knowing no room is absolutely perfect. We will absolutely return.

This is definitely at Best at three star resort. The staff was lovely. The rooms were dated and in need of some repair. However, they were clean. The food was boring and lacklustre. The drinks all tasted the same. Definitely a one and done destination for us. The beach was beautiful. Spent most of our time there.
