I’ve been to Cabana Bay so many times now, and it never disappoints! I love the theming here and all of the amenities really make this feel like it’s earned the name “Resort.” The pools are big and so never seem overcrowded. There’s plenty of places to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The staff is unfailingly friendly. This resort is the perfect balance of price and amenities. It’s my go-to resort for a Universal vacation and I’ll recommend it to anyone who will listen!

I have 0 complaints about this resort. It is big yes ..once you know your way around its really simple. Rooms were spotless and I have not seen 1 insect in our room during our 10 day stay. Diner has lots of food options to choose from. All staff I encountered were very helpful. Shuttles were great never crowded. We will definitely return to this resort.

We left this resort April 29th, 2024, and were there for a full week. We loved this place! If you have children, this is the place to go for sure. My 7-year-old granddaughter had the best week ever there. This place has everything right there and you could spend the week there without leaving. My daughter and I both were impressed with the way this place was run, which is very good. Our rooms were clean, and the workers were super nice. The food for kids was good and we ate there most of the week. Food for thought though. If you are actually looking for more lunch dinner options. Go to Golden Corral at lunch time its much cheaper and you get a great meal, and the choices are unlimited. The pools were so nice and warm, and we loved the lazy river and my granddaughter always found someone to play with in the pool. What impressed us was the safety at the pools. The pools have lifeguards all around and they are constantly watching and the lazy river there are lifeguard's all around and the guests are always in sight. I do not have anything about this place I would change as we had a great week at this place. This was a great choice from us choosing this place. We will definitely go back to Cabana Bay again! If you are not satisfied in this place, then you aren't going to be happy anywhere. We have been a lot of places, but this was one of the very best.

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort during our visit to Universal Orlando. This resort features a retro theme from the 1950s and 1960s. We especially enjoyed the little touches such as the V05 shampoo/conditioner and Zest soap in our room, the vintage cars parked out front, and the oldies music playing in the lobby. We stayed in a Standard Room in the Continental Building, which was centrally located in the resort. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean but did show a bit of wear and tear. During our stay we had the opportunity to dine at the Bayliner Diner for lunch one afternoon and breakfast several mornings. The food was prepared quickly and tasted delicious! We also enjoyed cocktails at the Swizzle Lounge, The Hideaway Bar & Grill, and the Atomic Tonic. The bartenders were very attentive and provided excellent service. Cabana Bay Beach Resort is within walking distance to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, City Walk, and other Universal Orlando hotels via the Garden Walk. The resort also provided shuttle service to the park but we enjoyed walking along the scenic Garden Walk. It took us approximately 20-25 minutes to walk to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and City Walk. A major perk of this resort is that it provides direct access to Volcano Bay. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed spending time at the Cabana Courtyard and Pool and the Lazy River Courtyard and Pool. Beach chairs and towels were always readily available. Pool floats of various sizes/designs were available for purchase to use in the lazy river and pools. We were able to exchange them for a brand new, deflated float at the end of our stay. Overall, we highly recommended Cabana Bay Beach Resort for families or couples visiting Universal Orlando. It was affordable and the perfect place to relax after a long day in the parks.

We have just returned home after our fourth stay at Cabana Bay. We have tried a variety of rooms there but on this occasion we had a Volcano Bay view room in the Beachside tower. The view from the 7th floor was amazing! The hotel was as fabulous as ever and this won’t be our last stay. We love the vibes here, there is a really fun atmosphere and so much for families to do as well as having easy access to Universal. The only thing I would mention about the beachside rooms in particular is that the noise from Volcano Bay can be loud of a morning as they turn the music on a couple of hours before park opening. Not really a problem though as we don’t tend to sleep in late on holiday.
