    My first stay at a Universal Resort and I liked it. Clean room. Bowling. Nice pool area that had a “beach” area and beach like entry; and, OH.....COLD room refrigerator. Best at any hotel I’ve ever stayed.

    Between the lazy river and the lovely bars, we always come back to Cabana Bay. The 1950's styling is cute and the rooms are very comfortable. Honestly, we like this better than the Disney resorts we've stayed at.

    Expensive, Cold Showers and Inconsistent Information

    The staff was very pleasant, but the hotel staff do not seem to know the rules such as the hours of the studios. It's frustrating that the hotels and the studios don't communicate. We missed an early entrance because we were told Universal was open at 8 on a Monday. Universal Studios staff told us the hotel staff are constantly telling the guest wrong information. It was Islands that was open early. We stayed at the hotel to have early admission. Also, they charge you for EVERYTHING - lazy river, gouge you for bowling and you are timed. Also don't expect to bowl bc most nights are full (they should disclose this when you call - my kids were so disappointed), AND finally the showers are COLD in the mornings. If you like to take a shower in the morning, don't. For us, staying at the hotel was not worth it. We are Hilton members and will go back to Hilton properties here on out. We prefer consistent communication, no price gouging (or at least transparency when you call and book your room) and warm showers.

    It’s a beautiful place to staying, have everything we are looking for our trip to Orlando. I highly recommend this resort . They have a great location, close to the parks and everyone who works there is very polite and helpful

    I visited during the month of October and had a great experience. The staff went above and beyond to keep the area safe and clean. They would require temperature checks daily and masks to be worn in all common areas. The hotel itself was very nice and had a fun theme. The early park access and shuttle rides were a plus. I would definitely recommend!
