The original Sahara Hotel was catered more to locals and more of a working class clientele. The current rendition definitely has a more elitist/trendy feel. Renovations are making the hotel look nice. Diverse choices from their restaurants. Lousy luck in the casino.

An average hotel, with weird interior in the rooms. Even though its a 4 star hotel, it dint give a 4 star feeling. No kettle and coffee/tea in the room. We were given a room far away from the elevator, at the last end of the hotel even though they didn't have many guests/fully booked because of covid-19.

    Very nice hotel!

I stayed at the Sahara in room 31148, on March 6 and March 7, 2020. The room was very modern with mirror lights on the left and right side a huge tv with full cable and a modern bathroom I was upgraded from a single king to a larger room with 2 queen beds. There was a cooler stocked with alcohol and sodas.. Very professional staff with quick check in and check out. Free garage parking. I would stay at the Sahara again the next time I go to Las Vegas!

The Sahara Las Vegas is one of my favorite places to gamble and have drinks. First of all it's a classy joint. It kind of reminds me of the movie "Casino". It may be a little smaller, the casino, but what it lacks in size is made up in excellent service. I would recommend the Sahara on one's vist to "Sin City".

We stayed here just before The Strip closed down. The mood and energy in Vegas was not it's usual high excitement, but everyone at the Sahara was pleasant. First, this hotel is at the end of the strip, close to the Stratosphere, so you will either be walking a lot, or my recommendation, get passes for the rail which boards right off the Sahara and goes along the back of the Strip, making the other hotels very accessible. The Sahara smelled nice, appeared very clean, and wasn't loud or disruptive to a nice stay and sleep. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome. We stayed in the king Mara room, which was tastefully decorated and felt large. The casino is on the smaller side, but there weren't many people gambling, anyway. Construction was going on across the street at the front of the hotel, but we didn't hear a thing. There are a few choices for eating right in the hotel, which were convenient. Best of all, parking was free and the hotel is close to the highway, so if you stay here and get a rail pass, you can enjoy the vibe The Strip offers, while being able to detach and feel comfortable in a smaller establishment at a reasonable cost.
