    The room and not much else

    Went the weekend before last and had a 2 bedroom suite. No warning of limited services that if you want anything you would need to head over to Mandalay Bay. Our entire reason to stay there was the easy check in, and not needing to go through a casino to do things. instead? No restaurant in lobby, Room Service was horrible. not even bad, the food stunk. Should have gone to the Wynn, where at least they work to provide a quality experience. To use the pool area cabana's my friends rented, had to walk through the entire Mandalay complex.

    Perfect place to relax during COVID, smoke-free lobby

    The lobby is quite welcoming. They checked my temp as soon as we walked into the lobby, and walked us to the front desk. There is no smoke smell in the lobby, which is rare in Las Vegas. If you want to gamble, you need to walk to Mandalay Bay, which is about 10 minutes walk. Right now parking is free, so it took the sting out of resort fee. They give you a bag with 2 masks, a metal door hook (so you don't touch door handles), and a tube of hand sanitizer. The room service staff delivered the food in packed boxes carried in a shopping bag. If you want a full, room service cart service, there is a minimum order of $100. Order the quesadilla. Amazing!

    Delano Room Tech Issues

    Me stayed July 8th for 3 nights. We had reservations for Mandalay Bay and paid to be upgraded to Delano. The room was very clean and spacious. That was the only positive. Our Phones in both rooms never worked the whole time we were there. They said the engineer department would fix it,that never happened. We also had an issue with both TV not working properly.The TV in the bedroom never worked and the one in the living room worked off and on.This is not what I expected during my Birthday vacation. I did tell management the issue,so they took off my resort fees.I had to use my cell phone and getting someone to answer took more than 15 min some days. I had to walk down to talk to someone when I needed something because the phones didn't work,that is unexceptable.

    Horrible from checkin onwards...

    I Arrives after having reserved a king suite multiple months in advance, was give a room with two queen beds instead. I was told I could “try to switch the next day”.....room felt warm, called front desk, they said give it some time to cool down. Went to casino, etc came back that evening, AC not working......called front desk, miraculously now a king suite was available and I could move ot it....they said they switched my keys over, went to the other tower, elevator would nor work with my key...I want to into all the rest of the BS.....but suffice to say that I will never stay at Delano again,

    Clean.Comfy. Wave pool got Smaller :(

    I would give a 5 star except...2 reasons its not. 1. The front desk phone service SUCKED my shortest wait time on hold to front desk was 16 minutes bc it then disconnected the longest was 30 minutes in which they informed me it would be an hour until they could bring water to the room! 2. The wave pool (which has always been my family's FAVORITE part of Delano/Mandalay Bay) has done something to make their waves smaller. I felt like they barely rippled up much at all, it felt like a little kid wave pool... even my 20 year old said the waves were smaller now. Then we overheard another couple saying the same thing that the waves were smaller now :( disappointing as that is our favorite part of this hotel.The pic I posted shows about the size of the wave now :( The room was great as always and the view of the strip fun to look at at night. Comfy beds & pillows. Great WiFi. House of Blues restaurant in casino is delish!
