We enjoyed our stay at the Delano. The ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and comfortable. Despite being a large hotel connected to an even larger hotel, it somehow feels boutique. We stayed in a scenic suite. We did have an issue at check-in using the mobile check-in. When we got to the room, we immediately noticed we’d been sent to a regular King Suite instead of the Scenic Suite that we’d booked. It took a rather long time and multiple trips to the front desk in order for the issue to be resolved. We arrived at the hotel around 1pm, we didn’t get to our room until almost 6pm. Once we got to the room though, it was roomy and the views were very nice. The bathroom was spacious with a seperate tub and shower. There was a Keurig machine in the room with pods available to purchase through the mini bar. There was a mini fridge, but it was only for mini bar items, not for personal use. The Delano has one restaurant, the hours are limited, so be sure to check those before heading over there. There are plenty of other dining options a quick walk down a hallway over to the Mandalay Bay. The Delano has a dedicated pool at the pool complex located at the Mandalay Bay. Delano guests also have access to the rest of the pool complex at Mandalay Bay which includes a wave pool and lazy river. You can rent a tube to use in the lazy river or bring your own. If you do bring your own tube, there is a fill up station near the main entrance of the lazy river. We enjoyed the pool area, but it was a little too family friendly for us. The pool areas were very crowded with kids. Also, getting to the pool area from the Delano is a bit of a trek. You have to walk through the main casino of the Mandalay Bay to get to the pool areas. As far as location goes, if you’re looking to be in the middle of the action on the strip, this probably isn’t going to be a good choice for you. It’s at the far South end of the strip and does feel a little isolated. There is a tram that goes to the Luxor and Excalibur, once at the Excalibur you can walk to the strip from there. For us, it was just inconvenient enough that we only made that trip once during our stay. The location is great if you’re going to an event at Allegiant Stadium, you can’t get much closer. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re attending an event at the stadium.
Nice hotel at the end of the Strip

My third time in Vegas and was there for a conference. Originally booked at the Mandakay Bay but they assigned me a room at the Delano in the same complex. The hotel lobby area looks really good but rooms and bathroom are fairly basic. The complex itself is huge with lots of food options but not many that open till late night. Delano itself is all the way at the far end of the strip so not the best situated if you want to walk around Vegas. Overall service was good and happy with the stay.
BRING YOUR WALLET

Everything is expensive at the end of the strip in Las Vegas, where there are not many options to "go elsewhere" and find a bargain. I bought a bottle of water and a Twix candy bar, and it was $11.18. Unapologetically. Ridiculous.
Overcharged and need customer service training

The hotel is upscale, but you are charged for everything - even coffee in your room ($15 for two cups you make yourself). The cleaning staff did not clean our room once in three days. And our room view was the back of the airport. When the restaurant shut down and we couldn’t eat (even though we had a reservation), the manager only offered apologies and said the restaurant leases the space and they can’t do anything.

Delano is a great place to stay if you enjoy quality, exceptional service and comfort. It's far enough away from the center of the strip so you don't get caught up in the traffic madness. Yet close enough to where you can walk to.
