The Hotel is kept very clean. All staff are friendly and speak some English. Very willing to help and serve you with anything you may need. I loved my room which I chose to upgrade. I had a beautiful view of the city and the Bay. I would have rated the Hotel a 5 but for the dreadful noise. From 5:30 am until roughly 6:00 pm there is a horrible bird sound which last 20 seconds, is quiet for 15 seconds and then sounds again. ALL day long. It is a recorded sound to discourage birds from hanging out at the Hotel. It took me a couple of days to realize it was not a real bird & confirmed by staff. That & the constant, I mean constant, “band” on the beach. They do not move along. They just stay, and there’s more than one trying to out do each other or drown out the Hotel entertainment. The Hotel entertainment was very good. That noise though, was not enjoyable and really should be somehow controlled by the Hotel so there are breaks from constant performing & constant bird noise. I don’t know if that is possible but I would recommend they control those noises. It was not restful or peaceful which is what I was looking for on my vacation. Love the rocking chairs out front. I suggest first time visitors check out the restaurant choices & times the first day they arrive or they will miss out on the Speciality Restaurants.

Held a family party that included 24 rooms plus venue. Checkout was chaos they kept DEPOSIT; their interest is not in customer satisfaction. Would not recommend for venues, parties, or weddings. Spoke to management and he was the most unethical in hospitality that I have ever dealt with. After spending 30k USD they didn't care they had their money which seems that was the only important thing to this hotel. Will never return. Stay away if you don't want to deal with incompetent management and petty politics.
