We loved bbc. The Room was comfortable and very clean . The food was always very nice and the reef restaurant was first class. The nightly entertainment is of a very high standard and the staff very pleasant. Beautiful beach and very close to oitsins and st Lawrence gap.

Stayed for a week 11/1/20 with friends I must say after reading the bad reviews before we came and then experiencing this hotel I’m not reallly sure if the people were staying at the same hotel we found it to be lovely staff great food good al la carte was really good rooms nice im a true believer you get what you pay for and for a 3 star hotel this was good if you want 5 star you need to go up the road to sandals and pay their high prices we went on a boat trip with a local guy MC turtle man ??% recommend this guy had a fab time swimming with turtles and snorkelling the shipwrecks before all the crowds came you can book via his Facebook page

We stayed from 9th November 2019 for 14 nights with our daughter (3) when we arrived there seem to be a massive issue with our room. either the hotel had messed up or first choice had not booked a suitable room for all 3 of us! So we sat, exhausted in the hotel reception for nearly an hour after travelling for 12 hours with a ratty toddler in the heat! Not a great start! However once in our room (which we knew we had to move the following day to the correct room) we were able to settle our daughter, grab a quick cocktail from the bar, chill and get an early night. The following day we woke up and went for a walk along the stunning beach and all seemed OK with the world! After a rocky start the staff were kind, helpful and mostly friendly. The food in the buffet was sometimes hit and miss, breakfast was always good and fresh with plenty of choice (the lady on the bacon cooking station was fab!). Lunch was good, the homemade coleslaw and macaroni pie were to die for, always looked forward to that! Dinner was sometimes a bit disappointing with not much choice especially for our daughter but when we asked the chef did cook her some chicken nuggets which were greatly appreciated as was the ice cream that you had to ask for. The pool area was OK but we spent most of our time on the beautiful beach, always plenty of loungers although the guy that put these out could be very grumpy! Our room was always kept very clean and we had a lovely sea view from our balcony. One of the biggest gripes was the only bar in the hotel was always under staffed, the wait for drinks was really long and in turn it made staff and customers annoyed to say the least. Over all we had a fantastic time in Barbados and there is plenty outside of the hotel to do and see, so hop on a reggae bus and get out and see this beautiful island! For the money we paid I would recommend the Barbados Beach Club as it meant as family we could afford Barbados and be extremely comfortable, fed and watered! Oh and listen out for the whistling tree frogs! missed that sound when we got home!

Great holiday, rooms are clean, food is lovely, staff are friendly and attentive, only downsides are they could do with more bar staff on in the evenings, and kettle tea/coffee facilities would be great in the rooms, If your thinking of doing the turtle trip, I’d ?? % recommend looking up MC TURTLE MAN on Facebook, he made our holiday a truly memorable one , we had a private tour (4of us) got up very close with the turtles ?? , not like the 60/70 people rush with the catamaran tours, look this guy up he really is great ????

first of all this is a 3 star hotel so if you want 5 star pay 5 star prices, the rooms are clean and functional with bed linen and towels changed every day, there is a limited choice of food but what food there is is cooked very well, some of the staff could be a bit more pleasant, the beach has wonderful sand and is bigger than photos suggest, good location and i used the local buses to get around as they are frequent and very cheap, would i return....... enjoyed my time here food good, comfortable rooms, could do with more bar staff at busy times.... yes i would return
