    The view of the room was beautiful it was in front of the ocean like I requested. I also requested Jacuzzi and the water was yellow and it wouldn’t turn on. The water from the shower keptgoing out and going to the hallway floor

    All Inclusive but during storm alcohol prohibited?

    I'm actually here now. First of all we have called down to the front desk to get bottled water four times now between yesterday and today and have gotten zero water. Second of all, the food is good but there is zero selection, so far it's been the exact same every day. This leads me to my main complaint. I understand this may be a "government order" but every guest in this hotel today woke up to learn that there was to be ZERO alcohol served today due to a tropical storm that did not hit until about 5pm. Even when they do serve alcohol, 11pm seems the cut off time which seems VERY early for an adults only hotel in Cancun. The hotel didn't even formally tell the guests we could have no alcohol today (we all paid an all inclusive rate and are not allowed alcohol or dinner past 5pm due to a storm) we should be told formally by management, not leave the guy who has a difficult time with english at the bar to mangage disappointed guests. They told us they don't know if we will be allowed to have alcohol tomorrow yet, it all depends on the storm. Our vacation is off to a very rough start.

    Old outdated resort

    Stay 10/20/2020-10/25/2020. The pictures on the website are very misleading. This resort needs a huge upgrade. The entire resort is HOT even in the rooms... we had to ask for a fan to be comfortable. We made the best of it but I wouldn’t come back until it’s upgraded. The hot tub water came out yellow with sand ???? and stayed that way after we ran it for 5 mins so we didn’t get to use it. It’s better to eat outside of the resort, other than pier 12 the food is TRASH. The roof was covered with trash bags and when it rained omg ??, again we had fun outside of the resort but wouldn’t stay here again. The staff was very nice, drinks extremely strong ??

    Golden Parnassus was a complete disappointed experience, do not recommended. I usually don't do reviews but this time I just want to express my awful experience at this place. I would have given them a negative number but not such rate, during our stay in Cancun but this hotel fell short on all possible marks. First off the customer service is was very unprofessional and somehow rude, from the first steps into the lobby and their checking counter it was a complete unorganized individual running the show. The rooms seemed like a deceivingly upgraded like a poor project housing. We changed rooms four times due to the fact that we paid for an upgraded room, the first night the room issued to us had water leak, the second they moved us to another room without the view to the ocean that was booked, the third night a decent room BUT on that day we were moved because of a storm moving to the Cancun area. Next day coming back after the storm passed through, we were moved again from a public school used a shelter, all rooms on the upper floor were damaged, broken glasses everywhere and flooded. Once we got to the new room on the lower floor the unit was not even ready or cleaned, not quite near to what we paid for it, no running water, wi-fi was part of the package and never issued to us. Paid for fascial massage for me and my husband and this really was a complete scam (please don’t try it). We stayed an extra day because airport was closed and they charged us full price for that extra day. The good: The food was ok and only two of the 6 restaurants were open. Personnel tried it best to be nice, but management was a completed fiasco the rate was fine, but now I know why. If you’re looking for a very cheap hotel and don't care to much about quality and the kind of the food offered, then this place is right up your alley.

    The staff goes beyond the call to please you. They are friendly and very attentive to the guests. From the moment I checked into the hotel to the moment I checked out of the hotel, every employee was friendly and working diligently. The food stations were nice and the pool and beach were fun. I loved it.
