I must admit I wasn’t expecting much from this hotel when I booked it through a local agency in Romania just because it was at a good price and had All Inclusive included. But my my my how it surpassed my expectations! I would definitely stay here again if I would travel to Tulum ??. The food was exquisite and the fact that it was a la carte, gave us a more luxury feeling. Even though you cannot swim in the ocean, the hotel is conveniently located at the entry of the hotel area. You can grab a taxi and go to the more crowded area of the Hotel area or you can simply take a walk. The room was lovely. Make sure you bring some bubbles for the jacuzzi. It was super fun for us to take a bubble bath even if I traveled with a friend.

Where do I start! First off, this resort is absolutely so beautiful! The view you can’t get from staying at an Airbnb in Tulum. Also there’s a nice pool and daybeds for no extra charge. Rooms were clean and spacious. The service was exceptional, the staff worked so hard to make sure you enjoy your stay and super friendly. It’s an all inclusive resort, even room service is included. Food overall was good, but not the best. We were planning to eat out anyways since Tulum is known for good food, so that’s not a problem for us at all. The location is pretty good, in Tulum but maybe 10-15 mins from Tulum beach and the main strip where all the popular restaurants are. If I ever plan to go back to Tulum (for the 3rd time!), definitely will consider staying here again.

    Not Everything is Included...

Despite the resort's website and my reservation saying that yoga, bikes, and beach club access were included, this was not the case. There was no yoga or beach club access. There were maybe 10 bikes for the entire resort, rusted so horribly that the seats couldn't adjust, and on a first come first serve basis with no option to reserve--the bikes often were unavailable. People, food, and service were good. While the dinner menu is different most nights, there's only the one restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are quite good, but it's the same menu daily. The fresh juice menu was nice. Super noisy for me: the hallways are echo chambers, and it's impossible not to hear doors and voices of other guests. The music at the pool was obnoxiously loud and could be heard in my room as well.

Stayed at this resort with friends. We had the best time, by the beach, the pool. The food and drinks were always perfect. Our 6pm crepes always on point with Carina. Our rooms were always clean when we were coming back from our outings.

    The most wonderful staff.

We're currently staying here at Kore and it's been wonderful. I feel safer here than back home in the States. I've read some of the negative reviews and while the points made are factual, e.g. no beach, and low water pressure, I think they're missing the point that one's experience is made by the people they encounter, not petty grievances. And the staff here have been wonderful, especially the wait staff. They have been attentive and courteous throughout our stay. Kore is all-inclusive, yet despite the excellent service and cuisine I've been feeling sad since I have not been able to tip since I have large bills. The menus rotate every 3 days and room service is optional at no charge. The food has been very good, especially the local stuff. Location is convenient being close to town and the hotel zone, and bikes are free. The rooms are clean, spacious, and include a jacuzzi. If we ever come back I would bring plenty of small bills and generously bestow it upon this most wonderful and deserving staff. It might be helpful if there was an opportunity to leave a collective tip to the staff upon check out.
