Safari59730677996 (Athens, Greece) on May 04, 2024

This was my 1st time in Barbados. the hotel and staff did not disappoint. The views of the ocean were amazing. The food was good. The beach and pool chairs were so soft and comfy. It was so fabulous that I am going back next year.

Beautiful resort

jessicaN4271GS (Rockford, Illinois) on May 03, 2024

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff members were mostly very attentive. I made some request ahead of my arrival. One staff member in particular, Nikita Warrington went above and beyond making sure I had everything I requested for my stay. One small negative for me was the number of small birds roaming one of the restaurant area.

Be aware of when requesting a luxury suite

mspaulavineyard (Upper Marlboro, Maryland) on May 03, 2024

The Sea Breeze Beach House, where do I begin, well let’s begin with the appearance of the resort, well it was quant and off the beaten path, not what I am accustomed too, I prefer 5 star hotels when traveling abroad, I will not name other resorts that I love to stay for I don’t want to embarrass this resort any further than necessary. I would rate this resort on the best day as a 3 star. The intimacy of a small resort was nice. I upgraded to the Luxury suite, for I wanted a larger room and in addition, I requested double beds for I was traveling with a fried. I stayed at this location because my travel agent was having her birthday celebration at this location, and normally she puts me in some 5-star resorts, however; this resort came nothing close to a 5 star on the best day, I would give it a 3 star. Upon check in we were advised that there were no double beds, only king-size beds with a pull-out sofa. Which could be pulled out and made nightly if requested. My travel agent constantly was apologizing for the inconvenience and afterwards stated that the General Manager said that in the future they will consider placing beds in rooms like those on cruise ships so that double beds can be in the larger suites when there are no more double beds available. Managment apologized for the inconvenience, however; that did not accommodate for my well spent money, so let’s see moving forward what will management do to accommodate my inconvenience other than to write a standard message on how we are sorry for the inconvenience and we will try and do better in the future, and hopefully you will give us a chance again in the future. The staff was friendly, so this helped to ease the disappointment of having to sleep in bed with another grown person. I love to tip, and I did, however; my tips could have been better if management had accommodated me, so their lack professionalism on behalf of management made it bad for the staff being tipped more. The breakfast buffet was small; however, you could get fresh waffles and there was an omelet station. The room in which we received our meal was about 150 square feet, the size of a parking space to park your car. The location of this resort is very convenient if one wishes to visit Oistin’s Fish fry, which is a popular spot to visit. This location is also close to St Lawerence another nice area to visit. Overall, would I recommend this resort, well that depends on whether you want luxury or just a place to lay your head with moderate accommodations, it could be a nice hidden gem if the rooms were actually accommodating for two individuals that do not desire to sleep in the same bed or having to sleep on a sofa bed. If you want a nice quiet getaway with that special someone, I recommend this location.

Relaxing Family beach Holiday in Barbados

Alexroger2024 on May 03, 2024

We spent 2 weeks at the Seabreeze as a family of 5 and had a fantastic time! From the moment we arrived we began to relax. We were greeted with a cold glass of fruit/rum punches and a smile. After we checked in we were shown to our rooms (interconnecting in the Mahogany block) and given info about the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I was glad that we had paid the extra to have a sea view. The hotel had booked us in for dinner that night, then you book yourself for the next 3/4 nights at a time. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the linen/towels changed whenever we wanted them to be. They even offered a turn down service and checked that our fridge was stocked for the night, we wanted plenty of water but they also had soft drinks, Prosecco and spirits. Tea and coffee in the room was great for when we woke up.Every day they left clean beach towels in our room ready for the next day. Breakfast was buffet style in the Mahogny Lounge and there was something for everyone. Marcia made the best eggs whichever way you wanted them, and the pancake/waffle station was also a great hit. We tended to have lunch from the menu at the flying fish bar by the pool, and my kids also loved the hot dogs, burgers and chips that was readily available. The lady who manned it was super friendly. The help yourself pizza station was also a big hit with us all, who doesn’t love a slice of pizza! My husband sometimes grabbed lunch in the Mahogany lounge which looked good. My boys never missed a football match as they showed them on the screen in the bar, and enjoyed the friendly banner with the staff about their team. Staff came round with the ice cream cart at least once a day which was great, and one day we decided to have afternoon tea on the Cerlean deck which was nice. Most of the time we had dinner in the Mahogany Lounge which was buffet style. Plenty of choice on offer, and they did a few different theme nights like fish Friday, seafood Saturday and Italian on a Wednesday. We only had dinner once in the Aqua Terra restaurant as it wasn’t for us and the service was very slow. The beach bbq was fab and the entertainment afterwards was amazing. Peggy is a fab dancer! We loved bingo, aqua aerobics, the rum and wine tasting.Kids enjoyed the sundeck and sea trampoline where they chilled with the friends they’d made. In the evenings it was mainly singers. Oistins is a must, uncle George does the best fish there, worth the queue! Fab hotel & holiday, would book again.

Sisters & Friends Trip to Barbados

CRC1975 (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on May 03, 2024

I enjoyed my stay at the Seabreeze Hotel. The check-in and check-out process went very smooth considering the group size I traveled with. The rooms were very clean as well as the restaurants. The furniture in the rooms showed a little wear, but other than that, the rooms were clean. The morning and evening buffets had a variety of foods to choose from. There was nightly entertainment. There is a nice, constant breeze from the ocean. The beach is small, but private. Other than the swimming pools, there aren't many activities for smaller children, so I wouldn't recommend this resort to families with kids. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
