Guests staying in a Luxury Collection Suite in 2024 will recieve

We reserved and paid for a room with two beds. You gave them away then charged us to upgrade to get two beds in a suite. Should have been complimentary since you did not honor our reservation

Overall, Sea Breeze is a nice hotel with great staff, lovely food and is in an amazing location. We had some issues with our room which were not attended to which left us feeling disappointed and not listened to. There are some annoying issues that don't stop you from having a good time but are just frustrating. A lot of the beach beds are broken so that the sun shades don't function correctly rendering them unusable in the strong sun. The other beds don't have sun shades at all and no umbrellas were provided. We had a couple of days where there was a shortage of beach towels which again is just a bit frustrating. The restaurants are all very good. Mahogony provides a high quality buffet and the choices are varied and tasty. Both Aqua Terra and Cerulean were fantastic but another frustration is the booking system. We found quite often that they were either fully booked or closed. I have never experienced this in any other hotels (perhaps I have just been lucky). Eating in these restaurants provides an experience and was far more of an event than Mahogony and we really would have liked to have eaten there more often than we were able to. I don't really understand how you can close a restaurant for the evening when you have a hotel with guests that have all paid to eat at that restaurant. We were also left a bit underwhelmed with the checking out experience. We were on the 10.30pm flight home. We chose not to pay the ridiculous price to extend check out so took the option of leaving our luggage and valuables in a dark, unlocked room by the exit. You also have to sort out your clothes in that dark room before walking through the bar to the shower room. Not really a premium experience. Putting those issues aside it is a nice hotel. The staff are fantastic, the location is great, the food is very good and the drinks are strong! We had a really good time but just not a really great time which is a shame as it could so easily have been.
