The Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville was a very nice place to stay. The people working at the check in desk were extremely helpful and kind every time we talked to them. The Gaylord is clean and there are plenty of food options as well as entertainment options within the hotel.

We took 6 of my sons classmates to the hotel and to SoundWaves to celebrate their 8th grade promotion. It was very nice. Having experienced the Opryland Hotel in the past, we knew what to expect, but the water park was a new experience for all of us. It is nice. Some things you might want to know. Towels are provided. There is food and beverage available and while a bit pricey, it was good quality. The park attractions are quite fun and there is something for all ages. There is an adult only area upstairs with a pool and bar. There are lounge chairs up there. On the main level there are plenty of comfortable chairs (not loungers) and little tables. There are lifts for those needing hep getting in and out of the pools. They have life jackets for little ones and those needed a bit of peace of mind. There are lockers to rent, but I felt my belongings were safe at my chair. I would consider water shoes. The concrete floor is textured and was a little rough on tender feet. You can also put your shoes on to walk between attractions. The main bathroom was the only one I went in but I noticed that it had showers for those needing to rinse off and change before leaving. The kids had a great time even though we were only able to use the indoor part because of the time of year. I am not into water parks, but I have to admit I like it too. I would go back.

We stayed here over 20 years ago. Being in Nashville area for our 45th wedding anniversary we had opportunity to stay at Gaylord Opryland. We so graciously were upgraded to one of their suites for this occasion! We had an amazing experience at an amazing place. So blessed!

We were Guests from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Pros... clean facility and rooms, decor is updated, very helpful staff members everywhere with a happy smile and lots to see and do for a couple of days stay. Luscious greenery throughout but not a lot of flowers. Very Quiet rooms.. we never heard the neighbors! Free shuttle service to Grand Ole Opry, Jackson riverboat and the mall Opry Mills. Easy to rent a mobility scooter in the main lobby but be sure to reserve one in advance with Mike at Bradley Medical. ($150.00 for our stay.). A scooter was a must and highly recommended. You can get to most places in the resort but have to figure that out. Cons.. you have to call for housekeeping service when you need it, there is no room food delivery until 6 pm and ends at 10 pm. Very expensive on meals but good quality, but nit the quality and ambiance of a $50+ steak. Restaurants are utilitarian in design. Several restaurants are closed still and there are limited food selections for those open. Valet parking is $40 but they gave us a discount of $32 because my mother is disabled/handicapped. Im sure COVID and not having enough employees might be the reason behind some of my cons,

We stayed in room with a view of the atrium. Worried it would be noise at night but it was quite until morning which was understandable. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Love how the hotel closed down to non guest during COVID. This place is normally crowded but did feel like that at all during this holiday. Felt safe Only con: Restaurants were all book each night. Hint make reservations prior to trip Walls are thin. Could hear neighbors baby crying thru night
