This hotel really is you get what you see, if you want luxury then this is not the hotel for you you’ll need to spend much more but if you want paradise on a budget then this hotel is more than suitable. 11 of us aged 17-75 visited this hotel for a week and all had a lovely time. The hotel does not have wow factor however it is clean and the staff are lovely considering the crazy heat both day and night. The food is varied each day and nice amount of choice aslong as you’re willing to try new things! The hotel is situated on a beach which you can walk along past other hotels, it is around 25 minutes from Bridgetown the capital, 15 minutes from the boatyard and 15 minutes from St Lawrence gap. There are plenty sunbeds, 1 decent pool and the WiFi works all around the hotel. There was some really talented entertainment on throughout the week but I wouldn’t say much for kids to do. In summary - PROS: Varied food Nice staff Good WiFi On the beach Close to nice places to visit Good cocktails at the bar CONS: Check in takes ages They are very laid back, we had to ask for fresh towels everyday and one day we asked 3 times and after 3 and a half hours just chose to use the used ones Isn’t much for children to do Isn’t anywhere really to go when it’s raining apart from a small reception Biggest recommendation: Visit the boatyard it is the most amazing place I have ever been it is 60 beigen dollars per person you then receive a card registered to you with 45 beigen dollars on to spend on food and drink, you can swim with turtles for free, there is free inflatable course, music playing and free WiFi

We had a great experience at this resort. Small, clean and very quiet are words to describe this hotel. Food was very good and drinks were amazing. Never line ups. Right on the beach, and they put umbrellas wherever you would like them! Service was great and room was cleaned before noon everyday. Entertainment is very limited, but there is good music being played all day. Overall, had a great week and will definitely return to this hotel when we visit our daughter at Ross University again!

From the minute we arrived at BBC we felt totally relaxed. It is a small hotel so you quickly get to know all the wonderful staff that go out of their way to fulfil any request you might have. It’s the first hotel I haven’t had to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun bed! There’s plenty by pool and on the beach for the number of guests and is great they’re not laid out in rows on the beach, you just pick your slot and the lovely towel guy puts a brolly up where you want it. The sea by the hotel can be a bit rough at times but the beach in front of Sandals in the next bay is much calmer and walked to in a couple of minutes. From the hotel you can easily walk to Dover Beach and St. Lawrence Gap one direction and Ostins the other. Rooms have everything you need, incredibly comfy bed, great T.V, shower gel, shampoo, iron, hairdryer and fridge. A welcome bottle of bubbly was a nice touch but I would have really appreciated a kettle in the room. You can always make yourself tea & coffee by restaurant from 7am. All food is of a good standard although limited in variety. There is an option to book an a la carte meal 3 times a week but we only found out about this from other guests. The live entertainment was excellent but there was a couple of evenings with nothing happening. All the bar staff worked so hard, I would like to give Morrison a special mention for always making me a perfect cocktail. We spoke to some people that have been coming to this hotel each year for the last 20 years so that speaks volumes about this hotel. The BBC definitely ticks all the boxes for an affordable holiday in Barbados.

We celebrated our anniversary and we had a fabulous time. 4 nights of great singers-- is this how Rihanna is such a talent? Steel drumming on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of dancing! Guests are very friendly... perhaps one plus over the higher end resorts. Meals had a lot of variety and enough vegetarian, fish and meat dishes to keep one content. They had a great snack at tea time. The beach connects up to Sandals, 3 doors down. So a lovely stretch of beach. But this hotel has a rock wall on one side so the beach is quite private. You can walk into Oistens for the fish fry on Friday .. 25 minutes. And safe there and back. Easy to get to different parts of the island. And 10 minutes from the airport. The rooms are clean and from our 3 Rd floor garden view you could the ocean. Staff were helpful and kind. Overall not much more you need on a vacation. We shall be back!! Thanks to all the staff!
