The resort was very comfortable and clean with exceptional staff that were always kind and very helpful. The location of the resort is ideal. It is walking distance to the beach (which is just across the street), a grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The resort grounds were well maintained and tidy. The continental breakfast is simple and always the same every morning which included boiled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, packets of oatmeal, juice, coffee and tea. I recommend there be a greater variety of breakfast options. There is also an additional charge for a resort fee which management considered.

Just returned from six great days on Cayman Island and our third stay at Sunshine Suites. Great rooms, quiet and convenient location. Easy access to shopping and many great snorkeling locations. We especially enjoyed sunning at Cemetery Beach and swimming with turtles at Spotts beach. Would also recommend a sunset cruise with Red sail.

    Relaxing family vacation.

Excellent location to the beach and restaurants. Facilities at the Westin across the street are included for an extra daily $35 resort fee. It's a short walk to the pristine beach. A free shuttle is available if necessary. The Sunshine Grill has good food and a nice atmosphere. The pool is clean and the grounds are too! The continental breakfast is quite satisfactory and is a good start to the day. Adirondack chairs are on the grounds which makes you want to sit and relax morning, noon or night. Its quite nice. Public transportation is available for $2.50 (US). We took the bus to Georgetown and Hell. We used Capt. Marvin down the road to take us to Sting Ray City (A Must!) It was very convenient. Also near by are the Eats Cafe, Legends (Good for Happy Hour 4:30 pm - 7 pm and after 10 pm) and Yoshi Sushi. All are excellent. Overall, we had a very relaxing and safe family vacation and would go back again. The island is pricey, but that's Cayman.

The Sunshine Suites Resort is the best place to stay for enjoying 7 mile beach; the Sunshine Grill has suburb cuisine.

The Sunshine Suites Resort is one of the best places to stay near the Seven Mile Beach. Its staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The Sunshine Grill must be one of the best eating places in Grand Cayman. the food is suburb and the portions large. The staff is unbelievably efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this resort as one of the best places to stay in Grand Cayman.

Conveniently located, free continental breakfast was nice, laundry facility and little kitchenette were very useful, having access to the Westin was great. WiFi was quite good. Lots of nice little restaurants and shops around at a walkable distance. Staff was nice but nothing special there - doing there job but not as welcoming as compared to the Westin, but still good. Rooms were clean but old. Bed was just ok - felt stiff in the morning to be honest. Parking was free. I would probably go back especially for longer stays due to the kitchenette and laundry room. For short stays or during the low season I would probably try something else like the Westin.
