El cid is always great to come back to. Food selections are good but would like to see the menus change or have chef specials. It is truly the staff that makes it the vacation great. Use butlers to get reservations and anything needed -- Ivan and Alejandro were great this trip. Greeter like Elizabeth always had a smile for us. Other staff like cinthia. Patty, gregorio, luis, Gilbert, violetta, Liz, Jeremy and so many more at the italiano for breakfast. Thank you all

We have been to El Cid many times and we are never disappointed. The food is very good and you have many choices. We had 3 butlers--Noah, Hugo and Luis. They were all excellent. They contacted me several times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. If I did need something, all 3 were always available.

We spent Thanksgiving week 2025 at the Marina El Cid Puerto Morelos. We had the best time! The staff make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The beautiful Christmas trees everywhere made the holiday experience amazing! Our butlers decorated our room for our anniversary and it was such a sweet touch and made our last night extra special. We are already planning our trip for 2026. Special shout out to our butlers Are Mendez and Manuel Diaz. We have made friends for life!

Great food and resort. This is our 8th year coming here and we always enjoy it! Plenty of pools and services available. The staff is amazing. Gilberto and Patty at the Marina pool are fantastic! Leo and Erik were excellent! They kept our room stock with water and beer all week and booked out dinner reservations.

The lush vegetation on the property is amazing. Didn’t go in the ocean because the many pools are fantastic. We upgraded to platinum and it was worth it. Our butlers Ricardo and Freddy were very attentive and helpful, as well as the maids. It was so nice to have our room well stocked with bottled water and other drinks. The food is excellent and I ate way too much. The espresso barista remembered our coffee preferences after the first day. The many places to enjoy the sun or shade outside were more than enough for everyone. The hammocks were a favourite under a canopy with a warm breeze.I enjoyed seeing the critters…coati, raccoons, iguanas, crocodiles. My favourite was sitting in the outdoor hot pool in the evening and seeing the stars above me. All the staff were so very friendly and helpful.
