Expected much Better!

I had very high hopes for this hotel, considering i had friends who stayed here few years ago and were braggina about how great it was but unfortunately this was not the case for us or even bunch of our other friends who stayed as well. From the moment I arrived, the service was beyond terrible. The front desk staff were shockingly rude, unhelpful, and had zero customer service whatsoever, and does not matter how polite you are with them, they are so negative and anything you say to them they just repeat with its protocol. Things didn’t get any better at the restaurant—the servers were disrespectful and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome. One server did end up being extremely helpful and his name was Urus from the Steakhouse restaurant, so thank you urus! The staff seemed more interested in exerting their authority than in actually assisting guests. Their behavior was unprofessional and downright hostile. If you’re looking for a relaxing or enjoyable stay, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I would also watch out and not leave any personal belongings out in the open in the rooms, as we saw that their housekeeping supervisors actually take pictures of things inside you room. When i confronted them about this, again they said that its protocol and the housekeeping supervisor has the right to do that. Our credit cards, cash and other personal belongings were in the photo taken which was sent to the phone of the manager on duty. I have never experienced something like this before and would definitely never come back.

My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend. The food is pretty good for resort food and the service here is great. Leo and Daniel were our butlers during our stay and they were the best! Answered any question we might have had and just made our stay an amazing experience. We will be back here in July for our wedding weekend! :)
