Can’t fault it!
Fibo2018 (London, United Kingdom) on Jul 22, 2023
After initially having this holiday cancelled in 2019 due to lockdown we were hesitant to book again…however it was the best holiday we have had. The resort is beautiful and relaxed, we stayed in a cabana room which was extremely comfortable (I’ve never slept so well away from home) and the balcony was amazing with stunning views. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beaches were quiet and well maintained with lovely calm warm water and the beach service was a great touch. We have never eaten so well, we couldn’t fault the food, some of the best we have ever had and are still missing it, the all inclusive menu didn’t include everything but there was certainly enough choice to keep us well fed for two weeks. Two nights of entertainment which suites us perfectly as we don’t enjoy that sort of thing. Couldn’t fault this place at-all, please don’t change, we hope to be back! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for maying our stay so special.
Painfully quiet but a nice resort for being totally relaxed

Visited this hotel for our honeymoon and unfortunately we were misinformed by virgin about this resort. We had a great time, however we would not have chosen this resort if we knew just how isolated it was and how there was practically zero entertainment. We didn’t want anything crazy, but the sound of the piano music playing continuously began to get very tedious after a few days. There seems to be a consensus that this is what everyone wants however pretty much everybody we spoke to when we were there said it would be much nicer to have some music on or more live music! The food was nice, always something to choose and nice to have it served. We did go for the lobster one night which was extra but it was my least favourite meal of the holiday. Drinks are good and Sheldon and Brian on the bar make some cracking drinks! We did have a real issue with our WiFi in our room which as there was total silence downstairs in the evening we tried to have drinks and quiet music or watch something from our balcony but it was nonexistent. We mentioned this to the rep who was sorting it with the hotel but nothing ever happened about it. Disappointing thst prickly pear island trips were no longer offered as again this was something virgin told us about when booking which sounded appealing. All in all, we did have a lovely time and the resort and staff are nice. However unless you want to literally do nothing except sit quietly and relax the whole time (or go on organised tours) then this place is not for you, especially for more than a week. Final point - the resort did know it was our Honeymoon however didn’t really acknowledge it in anyway which I think was a little bit poor for what we paid for the holiday. Even just a bottle of something or moving us to a cabana room (there were several empty during our stay) would have been a really nice touch.
