The Verandah Antigua is a luxury style resort is situated on 30 spectacular waterfront acres, hidden away on the untouched north-east coast of Antigua. It lies adjacent to a designated National Park and incorporates a powered soft white sand beach and crystal clear bay perfect for swimming. The historical Devils Bridge is only a brief walk away whilst uninhabited nature sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island are only a boat ride away.

The grounds and layout of the resort were beautiful. We had an exceptional view from our room (room 174) the only downfall was that the wifi connection was weak. The food at Sails and Tales, Nicole’s, Papa Ricco’s and the breakfast and dinner buffet at Seabreeze was so delicious. We didn’t hear great things about Portifono’s (the Italian restaurant) so we opted to eat at Sails and Tales twice while we were there and it did not disappoint. The service was a little slow and we often had to ask to have our water refilled. However, we met some amazing staff who made our experience special (Theodore, Destiny and Ashah from Seabreeze were very attentive and welcoming, the young lady and the young man at Papa Ricco’s made amazing pizza every time, Kiara from guest services sent my partner fresh coconuts when she got sick and always welcomed us with a huge smile each time we entered her office to book a reservation, Samita and Leticia from the pool side entertainment were incredible with the music, games and planned activities, Axenia from Nicole’s made that fine dining experience special and Lily, Jeremiah and the other young man down by Lover’s Beach were amazing!! Lily took us out wind sailing twice during our stay and we enjoyed every moment on the hobie). The staff and guests on the resort were so friendly and we had an amazing time. We’re already thinking about planning a trip back to the Verandah in a year from now. The resort was quiet and there were always beach chairs and pool chairs with shade available at anytime of day.
Worst place I have ever stayed at 0 stars garbage

*Worst resort I have ever stayed at...RUN!!!!** This is the absolute worst resort I have ever had the misfortune of staying at in my entire life. I usually don't bother with reviews, but this place is so atrocious that I felt compelled to warn others. Giving this property even a single star is a gross overstatement; it deserves zero stars. Whoever rates this place higher must be completely delusional. We were coming from a spectacular five-star experience at Hermitage Bay, which was phenomenal. Unfortunately, our flight got canceled, and American Airlines stuck us in this dump. The food is utterly inedible. Both of us got violently ill from the garbage they dared to call meals. The room was revolting—absolutely filthy. It was already disgusting, and then we found giant spiders crawling around. The ceiling looked like it was ready to collapse with every passing second. The service is equally horrendous. We requested a bottle of water to be delivered to our room, and they flat-out refused, telling us to drink from the sink. Seriously, what kind of place tells their guests to drink tap water in a resort? Their main restaurant, if you can even call it that, is a joke. This establishment doesn't deserve to stay in business. If you're considering booking here, save yourself the agony and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. RUN RUN RUN! This property is definitely paying people to rate them above a 1 garbage
