I spent my first few days in Aruba at the Courtyard Marriott and it was everything and more! From the moment I arrived Derriene and Ashley at the front desk were absolutely incredible, it was my best friends 30th birthday, the day we checked in and they sent cheesecake to the room which was so thoughtful! The pool, free appetizer and 10 min complimentary massage was so relaxing and the perfect way to settle into a beautiful island. Lastly the transport cart to the beach was a quick and smooth process and was absolutely perfect! Thank you everyone, especially Ashley for making this stay spectacular!!

Very welcoming and chill place. Staff is friendly A special mention to Jose who is super attentive, taking car of bags, calling for a taxi etc. Adrian, who works the pool area and beach is a nice, hard working guy. One note: Everyone there is happy to help, but you may have to ask for things such as complimentary apps, or a call for the beach shuttle. Those at reception always greet with a smile and are patient in sorting out any mix ups. We had an issue with our breakfast plan. We booked with Sunwing Vacations, and they include breakfast for everyone under the booking. However, if you book through Mariott, it includes up to 2 included breakfasts. On our 1st day , we were chsrged for one breakfast, but when we showed them our booking, they were happy to sort it out and reimbursed our charge. Having the breakfast included was great because we didn't have to think of a place to eat and it also fueled us for our long days at the heach. The pool area is very relaxed and there are more than enough chairs and beds for People to use. There are always staff members walking around and cleaning up or taking orders. It's a small hotel, but the number of staff members working and the overall vibe make it a great place to stay.
