Excellent All Inclusive Resort at an affordable price.

Gendy2014 (Santa Clarita, California) on Jul 05, 2022

Excellent All Inclusive Resort at an affordable price. Tamarijn All Inclusive Resort exceeded our expectations. We are a family who enjoys going to Riu Palace resorts. We wanted to try something new. This time, we decided to stay at Tamarijn All-Inclusive Resort in Oranjestad, Aruba. We had a totally different experience. Pros: 1- We stayed in Room 1403. Our room was directly on the beach. 2- Room 1403 had its own private beach. The waters were clear. 3- The buffet was excellent. A la carte made to order food. Unlike other all-inclusive buffets at other resorts, where they cook huge batches of food and we serve ourselves. 4- Food Quality was superior. 5- The grill station is amazing from Chicken, steaks, and fish grilled by order. 6- I personally enjoyed the seared ahi tuna from the grill. 7- Pasta station was great 8- Soup station was awesome 9- At Breakfast, there is a fresh juice station. Fresh squeezed orange juice, carrot juice, red beets juice, and many fresh squeezed mixes juices including melons, pineapple, strawberry, and banana. 10- Unlike other all- inclusive resorts, the bars served real undiluted alcohol. The mixed drinks were great. 11- Customer Service was amazing. Especially by the front desk. Gladys at the front desk was the best. She always greeted us with a smile. She always made funny comments. She really made our stay at Tamarijn very special. Thank you Gladys. We will never forget you. I’m attaching a picture of Gladys. She is the one in white shirt and black pants. 12- Every 10 minutes, a golf cart shuttle goes back and forth to the sister resort Divi All-Inclusive. 13- Pointer: Divi has a better sand beach and a better pool. Cons: 1- We experienced a storm in Aruba. The resort crew placed aluminum barricades at our patios for safety. Those barricades obstructed our view. 2- Food made to order at the buffet took very long as it is made to order. They need to hire more manpower at the restaurants. 3- Water bottles were not provided. The front desk provides one empty bottle per guest. We had to fill our own water from water stations. 4- In Room refrigerator was empty. No drinks or snacks in room or refrigerator. 5- The beach at Tamarijn has sea shells and rocks at the shore. Once you cross your knee height in the beach, no more rocks or shells. Conclusion: Excellent experience. Will revisit in the future.

Lovely Resort

skut820 (Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania) on Jul 03, 2022

My husband and I had a very rough trip to Aruba given that we had the first week of bad weather in years there, and some travel issues. However, the resort was truly a bright spot in a less than ideal trip. Check-in was so fast and easy, we had a fantastic room with a spectacular view. The room really was nice, which was great especially considering how much time we ended up spending in there because of the rain. Getting seats on the beach by our room (2102) was easy and it was a peaceful spot to send the days (when it wasn’t raining). There was not one bad experience with any of the workers at the hotel. They were extremely kind, ready to help with any need you may have. This is not a resort where they wait on you hand and foot. They do not offer staff bringing drinks and food to you on the beach, which was more than fine with us, but I know people complain-so just know that going in. Most important, make sure you bring a Yeti, because one of my favorite aspects of the resort is that they have fresh, cold water and ice stations all throughout the resort. This was truly the most eco-friendly resort we have ever stayed at. You can only get as many towels, as people in your party and can only exchange them once a day, which is actually really smart and efficient. As for food, we ate off-site two nights (Madame Jeanette-ok and Elements (great). We did enjoy the red parrot (divi side) and paparazzi was our favorite. The buffet is okay, as most resort buffets are. It was nice that they had different options so you can eat something different for lunch and breakfast if you want. Nightly entertainment was cute and fun. Overall, it was a very relaxed vibe and a beautiful place to stay. I am thankful that we had such a great experience at this resort despite having such a negative experience in Aruba. Oh one last important factor!!!! BRING ADVIL OR TYLENOL if you need it!!! I forgot to pack mine and there in none available at the hotel!!!! Just something called Agri-kind which didn’t work for me at all!
