Maxi was an attemptive and amazing waitress. Knew the menu and how to treat people. 5 star service. Ribeye was cooked great and drink was refilled every time it was empty. Maxi was careful and thankful great experience, will be back again in the future.

I have been a guest at the HI Aruba each year for the past 5 years (except COVID year). It’s a great spot and location. Sure it’s a little worn/dated but the staff is amazing and that’s why I return. The staff at the entrance, with the luggage, at the lobby bar and on the beach all are welcoming and helpful. They really do remember you year after year. It’s a warm greeting and homecoming. Jeffery and Smitty at the beach are amazing. Seek them out by name to make your beach day relaxing and comfortable. They both go above and beyond. Kyle at the entrance is fantastic always helpful with local tourist advice, luggage and obtaining a taxi even during busy times. When we had an issue the general manager came to the rescue and it was quickly fixed. So much so, it’s not even worth mentioning the problem in this review. Also, stop by Kevin Jewelry in the lobby. Kevin and Shawn have great items in all price ranges and stand by their jewelry after you leave to address any problems. My wife is a regular customer. My family has stayed at multiple IHG properties in the States and around the world including the flagship Intercontinental and Kimpton brands. I have no problem returning to the HI Aruba, service wise, they are at that level. After 5 years, I thought it was time to leave a review. See you February 2026.
