“Beautiful Resort, Extremely Poor Follow-Through on Refund

We stayed at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort in April 2026 and had a disappointing experience with the handling of a billing issue related to a Dushi beach dinner reservation. At the time of booking, we were charged for 4 adults even though the reservation clearly included 2 adults and 2 children under the children-free promotion. During our stay, multiple staff members acknowledged the mistake and assured us the difference would be refunded. We also received written confirmation by email stating the refund was being processed and would take up to 10 business days. Unfortunately, more than a month later, no refund was issued and repeated follow-up emails either went unanswered or resulted in vague responses with no resolution. The most frustrating part was not the original mistake, but the lack of follow-through and communication afterward. For a resort of this level, I expected much better customer service and accountability. The property itself is beautiful and we otherwise enjoyed parts of our stay, but the handling of this issue left a very negative impression.

Service with a real smile!

Our trip abroad was cancelled last minute so we booked out trip to the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba. It is not our first time but am so amazed at the services offered at the resort. A massive shout out to Anouk the activities director for the Renaissance, you are very fortunate to have such a beautiful hardworking and loving person on your team. I have travelled the world and have never seen such amazing programs. We participated in Aqua Zumba, the gym, aqua fitness and wellness sessions. We even saw Anouk in a mermaid costume greeting the residents to the Island! We enjoyed all the programs that were on the Island as well. She even had wellness classes for kids! The music was amazing and I have finally met a person in this world who can not take off her smile! Thank you for the peace and strength you provided me on this beautiful vacation.

Outstanding service from Cesar!!

We had an amazing stay at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, and a big reason why was Cesar, the bellman. From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly welcoming. He went above and beyond to help with our luggage, answer questions, and make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Cesar truly represents outstanding customer service and made our vacation experience even better. It’s employees like him that make guests want to come back again. Thank you, Cesar, for your kindness and positive attitude!

Fresca resturant fillet

The marina resort was very nice and all the service employees were very accomidating. I would like to make a special comment to the chef at Fresca resturant, I talked with Dennis and let him know how good the fillet steak was, I had a bacon wrapped fillet at LG and on Thursday had one at Fresca. Decided to cancel another reservation at LG for Saturday because I wanted another fillet from Dennis at Fresca. That guy can do steaks right and I will recommend anyone to try one there. The best medium rare fillet I have ever had, give this guy a raise!!!!

Excellent and nice friendly people big thing we lost our wallet with everything but I really appreciate and admire one of security man name Simone found and returned to us.he great asset for the company and deserve recognition and set great example of security and service.
