Great place to stay… The staff are exceptionally friendly, from the waitstaff and bartenders, to the housekeeping and grounds people. We go every year here and it’s no surprise we keep coming back.

The hotel was ok but a bit outdated. They are currently renovating the lobby so don’t stay right now if that is a problem for you. I’m sure the lobby will look excellent when completed in November. The ride to flamingo island was quick and the island is beautiful. Worth staying at the resort for the access.

Breakfast with Margaret to start our day off on the island was perfect! Very nice, and willing to inform us on everything we could do, as well as being a great waitresses!

This is a nice hotel - stayed here about 4 days in September - though I would not call it a good value. Did not want all-inclusive and in the end did not take huge advantage of the "resort" aspect and didn't love the location. It is well-maintained and staff were friendly and helpful, the room was plenty big and the pool is great and the spa was amazing (did a couples beach massage, reviewed separately). We stayed in the adults-only/Marina and this had pros and cons. No kids was the main plus (but being there over Labor Dy when school is starting, there were not a lot of families in general). I probably would have preferred staying at Ocean Suites because it has a lot more of a beach/resort vibe (including a a nice little lagoon area) than Marina, which is more urban. I often like staying in an urban setting but here, it's not like there's a ton of nearby nightlife to take advantage of. We ended up taking cabs frequently which were not cheap, to head up to eat closer to Eagle and Palm Beach. Did go to Renaissance Island and saw the flamingos which was nice but hardly a reason on it's own to stay here ... I personally would not consider that a can't-miss Aruba experience.

I visited the Renaissance Wind Creek resort with my wife in September. The resort was great. The best part was the access it provided to Renaissance Island by way of water taxi. The taxi was easy to access from the lobby of the hotel. We decided to go to the island early one morning for breakfast. The Papagayo Grill didn’t start serving breakfast until 8:30 but an amazing server, Luciano Panto Plet, served us coffee to hold us over til breakfast. He tracked us down on the beach once breakfast was being served. The breakfast was amazing and Luciano’s service was even better. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Aruba.
