Flamingo Paradise!

Absolutely loved this resort for our honeymoon! The adult marina side was the place to be and we spent all day, everyday at Renaissance Island. We spent 4 days here and the whole staff is incredible. Jennifer on the beach always took care of us with any food/drinks with our all-inclusive plan. The flamingos wander throughout flamingo & iguana beach, and there are plenty of photo opportunities if you get food early in the morning (quarters needed) and be patient. We don’t recommend the nature walk to the lookout on the island unless you have head-to-toe bug spray. Our hotel room was incredibly clean and we ate at the Aquarius seafood buffet almost every night. We will be back!

This is my 3rd year in a row at this resort and fourth trip and I love it! The staff are unlike any other - they know everyone and if they don't, they still make you feel like family. This year, both Roland and Petronila (Petra) from the towel hut went above and beyond. There were always clean towels, help with chairs, blowing up floaties, etc. And there was always a smile. Their job is to make sure guests have a good experience and both Petra and Roland knock it out of the park! Also, the location of the resort is close to local restaurants (non-touristy), local and luxury shopping, and more. There is also a private island exclusively for guests, Flamingo Island and it's an amazing way to spend a day.
Love this resort!

I love this resort! We went two years in a row, and brought even more people with us the second year. The resort is immaculate, clean, delicious food, perfect amenities. We love taking the boat to the island as well as renting a cabana for the day. Great place to snorkel, relax, eat, drink. Can’t think of a single negative. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you and see you next year!
A day in paradise!

Incredible day on the private island. Wonderful room upgrade as well. The bellman was amazing when we arrived and helped with luggage and car. He was also so helpful when we returned from the island and getting luggage to our room. Can’t wait to come back!
Nice resort, Nice Location, Wonderful Flamingo Island

The resort is very nice and clean. The rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. We stayed at the adults side, Marina. We stayed 4 nights. I enjoyed the casino, small but lots of slots and free drinks if you play long enough. We liked the location for our first Aruba trip. We heard wonderful things about Flamingo Island. It did not disappoint. We spent two days visiting. We saw pink flamingos, iguanas, pelicans . Definitely a highlight. You can purchase food/drinks to your room. The water taxi comes through a tunnel into the hotel. Very neat. We were very happy with the valet people. Very pleasant, helpful and accommodating There are two reasons for 4 stars. 1). Towards the end of our stay we had some not so accommodating interactions with the front desk. We asked a question about Kings Day celebration. The gentleman got on the phone, proceeded to ignore us completely for 20 minutes, not sure he was inquiring about our question. I had to interrupt him and tell him we had to go. We had a dinner reservation. Our second interaction was upon checkout. A young gentleman took us, printed out a bunch of papers, to hand to his co-worker. Only 1 page was handed to us with no communication at all. No "thanks for staying" Nothing. Not a word. When I reviewed the statement they didn't even have me in the right state! I don't live in New York. 2) We had transportation to/from the airport with DePalms. We're just curious why they dropped us off in our lobby and to be picked up we had to shuttle our luggage to the Family Resort, across the street. These are small things that definitely can be overlooked; but still didn't end our visit on the best note.
