I don't often write reviews but felt the need today. The Crane is, of course, absolutely stunning. The location, awe inspiring. But what made me write this is the service we received. There were a few glitches in our room. The staff were always quick to respond and take care of it. Two days in a row we had a problem with the hot water. This prompted us to request a move to another unit. Danielle (please forgive me if I misspelled your name) stepped up and took great care of us. It was evening and her shift was ending. She stayed until she had us sorted into an amazing upgrade. This is our second visit to The Crane. We really appreciate the care taken by the staff to make it memorable.
Unskilled and unprofessional place to stay

Although the place was beautiful. The front desk receptions were very rude and lacking in communication skills. We also had to pay incidentals of 2000 Barbados dollars £7-800 which we were not aware of. This is an extortionate amount of money. So they put an authorised hold on your card and what you don’t use should be released at the end of your stay within 3-5 working days. It has now been almost 8 weeks and although investigated by both sides I still do not have my £540 back. They also billed 131 dollars more with no explanation. Crane have taken no responsibility for this and quite frankly do not care. I would visit Barbados again for the weather, the friendly people, the place. I would never stay at The Crane again and would not recommend anyone visiting to stay there.
