Tourist entry tax and STINAPA nature fee
Visitor Entry Tax: Visitors to Bonaire are required to pay a tourist entry tax of $75 per person, per visit. The funds from the tourist tax are invested to support education, infrastructure, tourism development and sustainability initiatives on the island
STINAPA nature fee : All guests will need to pay locally to enter the marine partk that includes land and sea activities (snorkelling, diving, boat rentals etc.) on the island. . The dive shops, boat rentals and marinas will collect the nonrefundable $40 per person from the guests and it is valid for one year. Alternatively guests can visit https://stinapa.bonairenaturefee.org/ and pay online. For more information please visit stinapa.org/

Happy dive vacation at Plaza Beach and Dive Resortsort

Plaza had new upgrade constuction underway but this did not interfere with our stay. older rooms that we were in had an issue with closing tight but air conditioner took care to keep us cool . these older units a scheduled to be replace .Even during a repair of the pool another newer pool was available. beatitiful beach with good snorkeling. diver rinse station near beach with rinse tanks. Buffet had a large and diverse menu with high quality food. The bar had a good selection of drinks Toucan Divers dive shop is top notch with excellent crew and boats . Nitrox was not an upcharge. and both air and notrox available for both boat and shore dives.. Bonaire dive sotes are in good shape and numerousChantel ,Steph,Bruno,and Spyder were geat as divemaster. I really enjoyed the night dives

And unexpectedly unbelievable vacation! This was a dive trip. Each day was a an awesome adventure! It was my first dive after being certified and my Dive Master was patient, informative and my biggest fan! I’m now going for my advanced divers cert. The resort, although undergoing substantial renovations, was clean, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. I can’t say enough about the staff …. In the morning breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, fresh juices chefs preparing breakfast to your liking, as was every meal… lunch, dinner… Fresh grilled fish, delectable sauces, Walter… Make sure your meal was unforgettable! The drinks were fabulous and plentiful the bartenders, (David, Dana Kimberly ) were funny and attentive, engaging! Overall a wonderful, wonderful vacation. And the best part is you don’t have to go scuba diving to enjoy your stay. The resort is beautiful. The pool area is huge with a DJ and a bar. It has everything for everyone. I will be going back.!
