Stayed for a week returning Dec. 6 non-inspira. My wife and I have stayed at several resorts in the Cancun area over the years and I can say without hesitation Atelier stood out for its service, food quality and overall high end vibe. Hits: Dinners at Cilento and Kopai were our favourites. The service at both were fantastic and we loved all the dishes. Kopai in particular blew us away with the quality of the sushi. We returned to Cilento for a second dinner (and lunch one day). Never disappointed. We did breakfast at Mercado almost every morning and for a buffet breakfast it was pretty good. Fresh omelette/egg station at both buffet options on the property. Not Misses But Just OK: Los Abrazos was just ok. Service was a miss. Food was average at best. My wife enjoyed her filet more than I did the paper thin ribeye. Both came out room temperature on the verge of being cold. Certainly a more high end steakhouse feel in the restaurant. As with all the restaurants on the property it was beautifully designed. Takeshi was another mediocre experience for us. Poor service (lack of attention) and some hits and misses on the menu. To be fair it was very busy when we went but was well staffed. The sushi was pretty good. Spent most our days by the beautiful main pool. Service was always great and drinks were the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Chair game is real here. If you want a pool bed I imagine you need be up by 6am to reserve one. Chairs were mostly gone by 10-1030am. Lots of activities during the day. We spent one day by the relaxing pool. No complaints and Bikini Azul was a decent lunch option poolside. Beach was also top notch. Not much seaweed in the water and outstanding service. Those servers work so hard walking through sand all day so tip them if you can. Loved the cocktail bar Bar de la Calle. Unique cocktails and a fun vibe every evening. True mixologists. Evening entertainment was ok. Had a blast at silent disco and karaoke night was a riot. Live band wasn’t great. Overall we had an incredible time and I hope the resort maintains its high level of service. Didn’t feel we missed anything without booking Inspira. We weren’t harassed for a sales pitch. Thanks to all the staff who made the trip so memorable for my wife and I. We hope to return!

Pros: the rooms are nice and modern, the staff is friendly and helpful, there are a lot of activities every day, and there are several bars and restaurants to choose from. Cons: there’s more of a big, corporate feel to the hotel than an intimate, luxury resort. When we checked in, we were told we could choose to get a couples massage or dinner at the michelin star restaurant, which we thought was great, but we were not told that in order to get that you have to sit through a 90 min sales pitch. The food and drinks were also mediocre, but I guess that’s standard with an all inclusive. And they also have scent diffusers EVERYWHERE with a perfume wafting through every corner of the place, so fair warning if you dislike strong scents or endocrine disrupters.

The resort was calm, clean, and peaceful. The beach was gorgeous. They had plenty of chairs on the beach and around the poolside. The rooms had plenty of room, were comfortable, and the room service was top notch. We really enjoyed staying at this resort for a week. Oh and Cesar is the best! He not only served us drinks, he helped us take our family photos on the beach.

The Staff at Atelier are the Best! They are extremely friendly and there whenever you need something with a smile and go the extra mile too! Julio at the INSPIRA Beach especially is a true professional and such a hard worker and gave us impeccable Service all day every day at the Beach. Let me add the food is fantastic too at all of the restaurants and they make great drinks. My wife and I would recommend this Resort for a couples getaway 100%!

Our stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres was fantastic. Everyone was welcoming and the service was top tier. Christian, Roman, & Angel made our dining experience at Maria Dolores extremely memorable. Jorge & Armando also made our stay enjoyable as well. We will definitely be back.
