Best beach, attracting wrong clientele, parents not controlling their entitled children. Guests not tipping and being demanding
Family Friendly Resort that Needs Better Planning/ Better Time Management

Just returned from a 4 night/5 day stay at the resort with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and a friend's family (2 adults,1 kid). Pros: The Beach Bunch is a kids' activity place that the girls all loved to go and was welcomed by Andy, Sofy, and Jessica. Sandy was not quite as friendly or understanding of the parents' situations. If your kid is younger than 4, a parent can stay with the child. The pools are nice and clean. Bathrooms are accessible and clean.(There is a large bucket that fills and dumps regularly on top of the kiddie pool, which could scare some younger children.) Con: There is a sports deck, that gives out 1 pool tower per guest unless you have your children in tow and visible, they will only allow you to take 1 towel at a time. Food was mostly mediocre. We tried : Noriku, La Luce, Flama, Maxal, Sea Salt and the buffet. Not sure, if we have a spoiled palette being from NYC but I've been to other all-inclusive hotels and the food was much better. If you have young kids, definitely try to go earlier than later because when the restaurant gets crowded, the service is very slow. Most plates were smaller portions, so most people can order multiple plates to try. Maxal was one of the better restaurants of them all. Their steak and churros were good! Pros: Fruit cups are available at the Cafe near the lobby in the AM There's ice cream starting 11AM til they run out. Their coffee is better than other places. Con: Night activities aren't always family friendly. Glow party had A SINGLE person face painting and each family lining up took more than 30-40 minutes for a kid to get their face painted at 930PM. Not well thought out. Terrible last night with terrible service from Flama STK hostess- the waiter was wonderful and caring but Stephania was unkind. Last night, my daughter ran too quickly and hit her head on the bumpy wall causing a puncture on her forehead and lots of bleeding. The medical team was not as quick - definitely go directly to the concierge. My husband still had to walk to the nearest pharmacy to get what we needed. This happened while we were heading down to the restaurant for our reservation. Her face was covered in blood and I was helping her clean up and find antiseptic and bandage her head. The Flama STK hostess was not understanding of the situation and added more stress to me who was already impatiently waiting for the medical team to arrive. Stephania came up to me and said if I don't take my restaurant service, she needs to cancel my table as if I should sit down to enjoy my dinner rather than waiting for medical help. I was appalled and had no appetite. My friends were trying to entertain their daughter and my other daughter, while I was trying to get help and the "service" I received was rudeness and not empathy; this was extremely disappointing.
