Overview
Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is located in beautiful Playa Mujeres, complete with famous white sandy beaches and stunning ocean views in a privileged gated community. This brand new, adults-only, all- suite resort is only 35 minutes from the Cancun International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Cancun, adjacent an 18-hole signature Greg Norman golf course and in close proximity to the best golf courses, shopping centers, beachfront restaurants and nightlife in the area.
This resort will welcome its guests with an elevated club house with spectacular views of the ocean and just steps away from some of the resort's gourmet restaurants, fitness center and spa. Open-air spaces make it ideal to enjoy the warm ocean breeze. It features a protected area located between the main lobby and the main pool section where some of the region's flowers and birds can be seen and photographed.
Other fees include
- A Government of Quintana Roo environmental tax ranging from $1-7 USD* per person per night is to be paid locally to the hotel. *Subject to change.

Why This Resort is Our Personal Favorite (And Why You Should Visit!) After five visits, it’s safe to say it’s become a personal favorite—and a big part of the reason for that is the incredible team that works there. The Entertainment Team: Energy You Can’t Help But Love One of the highlights of any trip here is the entertainment staff. From the moment you arrive, Jesus and Felix are there to keep the fun going, whether it’s with volleyball games or poolside activities. They have this infectious energy that’ll get you moving and laughing, even on the most laid-back days. The best part? They truly love what they do, and it shows in every activity they organize. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or just want to join in on the fun, these two are sure to make your experience memorable. Poolside Bliss with Top-Notch Service For us, a day by the pool is pure relaxation—and Martin, one of our favorite bartenders, makes it even better. He’s always ready with a fresh drink and a smile, making sure you have everything you need to kick back and enjoy the sunshine. And when you’re lounging on the beach or at the pool, be sure to track down Katia, Luis, and Suzy. These amazing servers will make sure you’re taken care of all day long, and their warm hospitality leaves a lasting impression. Dinner at the Hibachi Restaurant: A Must-Do Experience If you’re a fan of unique dining experiences, the hibachi restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Be sure to make a reservation the day of—trust us, it’s worth it. Our favorite part? The service, especially from Tomas, who’s known for turning an ordinary dinner into something extra special. Diego: Your Go-To Concierge for Anything You Need No matter what your plans are during your stay, Diego is always around to ensure everything goes smoothly. Whether it’s arranging tours, helping with reservations, or just answering any questions you might have, he’s the go-to person for all your concierge needs. His friendly, professional service makes everything easier, leaving you free to enjoy your vacation without a worry in the world. Why We Keep Coming Back This was our fifth visit to the resort, and each time, we leave even more impressed. The renovations underway have us excited for our next stay, and we can’t wait to see the improvements. But what really keeps us coming back isn’t just the beautiful property or the amazing amenities—it’s the people. The service is awful, the staff was unfriendly. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. The view was nice I guess.... The food was pretty good. We spent more time at the sister resort "Dreams" - much friendlier there. This is not at all what I expected from a Secrets resort.
