We had a lovely time at this newly renovated resort. Great beaches, pools, service, food and drinks! The perfect all-inclusive get-a-way for couples and friends.

Wow what a lovely hotel! When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a glass a Prosecco and very friendly staff. As soon as we got on the golf buggy to the lobby, we knew it was going to be a great trip! Food - Buffet for breakfast and lunch was great. Fresh omelettes, tacos and range of salads were great. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The range of à la carte restaurants was great. We ate at a different restaurant each night. Our favourite was Portifino and the Hibachi. Entertainment - We absolutely loved the daytime activities! Starting the day with yoga, then 11 for water volleyball, water polo and lots of other things to do throughout the day! It’s lovely to have the option if you just want to relax or get involved too. The staff were just so so lovely, Daniela, Fernanda and Carlos. They really made our holiday so special. Facilities - Our room was a top floor ocean view room. It was stunning. The refurb is brilliant, so aesthetic and modern. As someone who visits the gym a lot, the gym on site was great. Enough there to enjoy my training. The pool was lovely, spacious, lots of sun beds. However, I do think they could clean the pool slightly more! I loved the golf carts. The drivers were amazing!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend for anyone!

We recently stayed at the newly renovated Secrets Resort and had such a great experience overall—we would absolutely return. The updated rooms were beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. One thing to note: the renovations replaced tubs with walk-in showers. We personally missed having a bathtub, but the showers were spacious and well done. The dining was a highlight of the trip. The new Preferred Club breakfast spot quickly became one of our favorites—such a relaxing way to start the day with great options. We also loved the seafood restaurant, Oceana, right by the beach. The setting alone is worth it, but what really made it stand out was the service. Manager Susana was fantastic—so attentive and genuinely welcoming, with excellent recommendations. She suggested the carajillo (Liquor 43 and espresso), and it was SO good—easily one of the best cocktails we had all trip, especially with that ocean view. The pool area was nice, but like many resorts, it can get crowded and snagging loungers can be a bit of a challenge. That said, we actually preferred the beach daybeds—they were easier to get and made for a more relaxing experience overall. One of our favorite parts of staying here was having access to the sister resort, Dreams. Being able to use their pools, bars, and restaurants really expanded the experience and gave us more variety throughout our stay. All in all, a beautiful, elevated resort experience with great food, wonderful service, and added perks that make it stand out. We’d definitely come back.

Amazing time at Secrets Playa Mujeres! Nice to have 2 resorts in 1. Able to explore Dreams Playa Mujeres as well. Glad to see Daniela has returned! We arrived on her first day back and happy to see a familiar face. She is kind, enthusiastic and very talented in her position as part of the entertainment team. Thank you Daniela for a great time playing table tennis and pool volleyball!
