We stayed at Secrets Playa Mujeres for a week and had a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful, and the pool area is spectacular. Service around the pool was consistently good, and there was always something happening, whether it was music, activities led by the entertainment team, or enjoying a drink at the swim-up bar. The beach was very quiet and relaxing, with excellent service. There was also very little seaweed during my stay, which was a pleasant surprise since some beaches in the Cancun area can have a significant amount. There are plenty of restaurant options throughout the resort, and I received good service at all of them. I visited during a slower time of year, so some restaurants were closed on certain evenings. Be sure to check the daily schedule when planning where to eat. Guests can also visit the Dreams resort next door and enjoy its restaurants, which provides even more choices. The gym was clean, spacious and well equipped. The resort also has tennis and pickleball courts. During the week I was there, a visiting tennis and pickleball professional offered complimentary morning clinics. We participated in both, and this was a big plus for us. The entertainment staff was engaging and visible throughout the week. Nelson, the entertainment manager, and his team did a great job interacting with guests at the pool, on the courts and during the evening shows in the theater. Marco, Leo and Carlito were especially friendly, energetic and fun to talk with. Overall, Secrets Playa Mujeres offers a beautiful setting, excellent amenities, good service and plenty of activities. I would encourage anyone planning a trip to Cancun to put this resort on their list of places to consider.

It was another beautiful stay at Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort. Our weather was hot and sunny. As usual the service was wonderful. The staff here truly has become like family. Hugs to Ruben/Market Cafe....Gabriel/Market cafe...Melissa/Market Cafe - Suzi/Pool Server ... Maru/Pool Server...Catia/Pool Server...Maria Jesus/Pool Server - Marta/Jaime/Alex Pool Concierge ... Vanessa/Karla/Wilbur and Karen Preferred Club - Eunice & Annabelly/Coco Cafe - Paulina/Concierge and of course Christian/Martin/Helio/Jose/Juan plus all of the other smiling Bell guys/girls that help drive you around every day. (I hope I did not miss anyone). This resort has been a favorite for our girls trip. I did not do great with remembering to take pictures this time but the memories remain. Until Next Time!

The resort is truly beautiful and impressively large. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and housekeeping consistently maintained our room in a clean and tidy condition. While the food was generally bland and lacked seasoning, the World Cafe offered a very pleasant breakfast experience with a wide variety of options. We kindly recommend avoiding the artificial orange juice in the room’s refrigerator, as it tastes similar to Tang and may not meet expectations, yuk. Additionally, the reasonable accommodations needs improvements, we would appreciate enhancements to better support guests with disabilities or mobility needs. It would be greatly beneficial if the resort could improve its accessibility features in the rooms on the premises. The toilet seats are verv low, there's no grab bars on the walls for assistance and the showers there's no grab bars and VERY slippery in 'ALL Rooms' bathrooms and bedrooms, keep your balcony doors closed because the floors are VERY slippery that's a safety concern for me. Due to the environment in Cancun is VERY HOT & HUMID. I recommend bringing a heating pad for your bed, your rooms are VERY cold :)

Where do we even begin?? We and my husband (T-Roy) went for our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away! Sam was the absolute best!! 100% recommend him for help or questions! We made a very good friendship with him and enjoyed his company! He made us laugh and always made sure our needs were met! Also Marcella and Silber! They were also phenomenal! Marcella made the BEST drinks! Silber was very knowledgeable! We both hated to leave this resort and can’t wait to go back! They made us feel like family!! Food was great also! Service was top notch!!

My husband and I just came to Secrets Playa Mujeres for a week and had the best time! For September, the weather couldn’t have been better. A sunny and clear 31/34 degrees daily, with only one afternoon of cloud. The resort is huge and built over 2 main parts. We didn’t get to the ‘top’ part until a few days in, so missed a few things due to only being there for a week. The resort map on the app doesn’t enlarge properly either, so we kind of had to figure out where things were for ourselves. This could be improved, or even adding a printed resort map would have been such a help! Our room was gorgeous, clean and stocked with everything you could need including tea and coffee. Fresh towels daily, and re stocked mini bar throughout the stay. Huge tub on the balcony. The stone inside is fairly rough, but we just used our shower mat to sit on and then it was perfect. Our room was a Preferred Club Junior Suite in Building 3, room 3326. The view was insane and gave a lovely overall with both the beach and main pool area. The sunrise from our room was beautiful. The staff are incredible, and all go above and beyond what would be expected. A handful that really stood out for us were firstly Michelle, the KiKI Che manager.. she was adorable, and made us feel like the only guests on the resort with her personable and outstanding service. Her side kick Dolce, again was just brilliant, and it was so nice to see her friendly smile for breakfast each morning. The waiter David, also at KiKi Che and the Ocean Seafood restaurant at lunchtime, he was so friendly, really got to know us, gave fabulous recommendations and generally just excellent service! Both Alvin the Preferred Pool concierge and Santiago the waiter are a massive credit to the resort! They both work so hard to remember all their guests names (Santiago will give you a name of his choice lol) and look after your every need. Genuinely they are both deserving of a raise as this was no mean feat in 34 degrees. I was worried after reading reviews about having to pre book some of the restaurants as we like to just decide after a drink at the bar where we fancy, but there’s only 3 I think that need pre booking, so this wasn’t a problem at all for us, and we had no issues getting tables where and when required. Having the restaurants next door at Dreams too was a big perk if you don’t mind being around children. To be fair, the evenings we did go over there to eat we went after 8pm ish and didn’t see many children. We didn’t have a stand out favourite restaurant as all the food and service was generally really good. After hearing so many rave reviews poolside about the French restaurant we were so excited to eat there, but sadly our experience wasn’t that great. There was a really long wait for the table (over an hour, but advised 40 mins). When we did get a table the restaurant was half empty, freezing cold, and then we had another long wait to order. Sadly the food (excluding the snails) was average. This was the exception though as every other restaurant was amazing! As for the dress code, trousers on men didn’t seem to be enforced.. so if that’s the case they should really think about adding in smart shorts to their information as it would have saved us having to buy dress trousers for the holiday, only to not actually need them. One thing that does concern me about the resort is the size of the Dolphin Home. It’s no where near big enough in my opinion for the amount of Dolphins housed in there sadly. Overall this is a gorgeous resort and we would happily return. You wont regret coming here for sure!
