We just came back from our one whole week vacation from Secrets Playa Mujeres. We are already missing it. This is our third time there. SPM is turning out to be one of our favorites places to go to just to unwind, relax, and a place we can call home. The last time we came here was last Super Bowl weekend Feb 2026. There were a lot of staff that gave us the same EXCEPTIONAL, SPECTACULAR, AND SPECIAL service that they gave us last time and this time. We were so surprised when they would say your back or I remember you. We made more special relationships this time. I need to shout out to these people who made our vacation very relaxing with no stress at all. They were the best with their service to me and my husband. It wasn’t just the service but it was how they approached us with their kindness, smile and especially how they talked to us. It was like they wanted to get to know us and that what we love. When they do that I can go on and on ??. Special shout out to Karla receptionist at the Preferred Lounge. I loved seeing her face and greeting me and smiling away saying “Buenos Dias Mrs. Paulos”. Martha at Preferred Beach Club she is so sweet. She would make sure no one takes my husbands favorite Bali bed. She would fix our towels and pillows so nice and pretty. Even on her day off she would make sure her co worker would save the Bali bed for us. She would make our dinner reservations for us. Alejandro at Preferred Restaurant and Oceana the service he gave us was top notch. By the end of my vacation he knew my order. Pedro one of our favorite Golf cart driver. He remembered we were from the Philippines, my maiden name from last Feb. We were always laughing with him when he drove us around. Finally the last special person who we connected with was Valaria at Seaside Grill. She made our last dinner memorable with her kindness and what she recommended for our meal. We were glad we met Valaria on our last night. I think we created a special bond with her. My husband is planning to come back again this Nov. He says he wants to come here 3x a year. Can’t wait to come back. See u in Nov.

This was our 11th trip to our "Home" at Secrets Playa Mujeres where everyone makes you feel like family. Last year, a complete renovation was done to the resort & in the end it was amazing. The rooms are modern & inviting and for this trip we booked an Ocean Front Master Suite with the private plunge pool. The management even decorated the room for my birthday, with birthday banners on the door and above the bed and balloons EVERYWHERE!!!!! The suite was beautiful & very comfortable with a view of the ocean & a fantastic sunrise every day! But the pool was the best with a deck where we sat every morning having our coffee watching the sun rise to another perfect day and relaxed in the afternoon shade, sometimes having a nap in the quiet peaceful setting!! It was paradise!! If you book at the Preferred Club level, the new Preferred Club building is second to none! At the P/C building are the private P/C members check in, a beautiful large area to relax with food always available & a top shelf supplied bar with an expert bartender. There is a larger deck area ocean front of the building with a large pool for P/C members. Then the second level is the restaurant Ki Ki Che where P/C guests can get breakfast in the morning and an amazing fixed menu dinner, expertly prepared by chef Yoshio. Mario the manager is always around to make sure that your dining experience is as good as possible, as a matter of fact, when we mentioned to him that the wine list didn't have a certain wine that we enjoyed, he actually had the sommelier acquire a bottle for our return visit several days later! Thank you Mario!!! Another of our favorite restaurants is Portofino, where Daniel the manager & all the servers always make time to say "hola' and check on how we are doing! The professionalism of the servers is exceptional in both restaurants, with Lisbeth, Artimeo & Rogerio being a few of our many favorites. The food in Portofino is excellent but the best was on my birthday when Daniel took the time to prepare Strawberries Jubilee at the table for us. It was an amazing show & soooo tasty!!! Thanks so much for the extra attention Daniel, it really made my birthday special!!! Of course I must also mention Himitsu restaurant. The excellent service & tasty menu items must be experienced during every stay! Food is always available at any time. Whether it's room service at any hour, snacks & light food at the Barefoot Grill by the pool, the Seaside Grill for lunch & dinner or in the World Buffet for breakfast or lunch, there is always something available. The world Buffet has an excellent selection for breakfast or lunch and has cooking stations for hot fresh favorites with great servers like Enrique, that provide you with a beverage and clear the table as you finish each course. The beautiful beach & main pool areas have lounge chairs & umbrellas for many guests with servers that are patient & helpful. Delmi, Karina & Karen are a few that we have known for many years & always greet us with a big hug & an 'hola"! Now last but definitely not least are the Concierge/Bellman team that are the first & last people that you see and also take care of any issues during your stay (Wilbur always seemed to be the man that took care of any other issues that we had, and did it quickly & efficiently! Thank you Wilbur, you're the best!). When you first pull up, the big smile & greeting from Christian or Helio, the main front end bellmen, or Leo or Omar (or many of the other excellent bellmen) as they greet you & take you to your room, always starts my vacation right. Then there's the friendly check-in staff & concierge' that complete all the paper work to get you situated, or in some cases, fix any request. All in all, it's one of the best resorts that I have ever been to and I will continue going "Home" to my Secrets Playa Mujeres family!

We are having an incredible time at the resort so far! The service and atmosphere have been absolutely amazing. We had the opportunity to chat with Jaime, and he was fantastic - very attentive, kind, and funny. He truly made our experience even better. Also, every morning at the buffet, Armando would remember us and always make great conversation, which made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. The staff here really go above and beyond to make your stay special. Highly recommend!

My husband and I just returned from a 6-night stay at Secrets Playa Mujeres and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort was beautiful, clean, relaxing, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The food, drinks, beach, and atmosphere were all incredible, but what truly made the trip special was how kind and attentive every staff member was. We felt welcomed and taken care of the entire time. We left refreshed, grateful, and already wanting to plan another trip back. Highly recommend!

Beautiful resort, clean, with outstanding customer service. They are always ready to make you feel special and pampered. Restaurants have amazing ambience. However, some of the food was under seasoned/bland. The beach is beautiful and clean. Easy to access. Quiet.
