Iberostar Cozumel is a diver's and nature-lover's paradise set along a spectacular stretch of white sandy beach on Mexico's largest island. This relaxed and romantic resort embraces the area's lush vegetation in a secluded village of quaint bungalows and open-air dining. Pathways and gardens connect guests to the many pleasures of our all-inclusive enclave, while gentle breezes and shaded garden patios welcome you back after a day of diving our famed reefs. And don't be surprised if you glimpse the occasional iguana, parrot or turtle among your tropical surroundings. The area holds many other fascinating adventures as well, with nearby parks that celebrate native wildlife and ancient Mayan culture.
We enjoyed most everything about this resort. I can not emphasize the value of having the dive shop onsite. In addition to the dive and snorkel gear available, they also offer kayaks and 4 person sailing catamarans for just a mere $5 national park fee. The only recreational disappointment was there were no bicycles available to rent for the long (30 Km+) bike trail that runs along the coast from beyond the resort to the central district of Cozumel.
The services and cleanliness are very good. The food and drinks were good for the most part, though there are only 2 beers available- Dos Equis Amber and Lager (worked for me). The wine selection (beyond the house wine) was pretty broad and decent and available at an extra cost. Our favorite drink there was their lemonade mixed with mineral water with límon. The perfect thirst quencher!
Our biggest disappointment is their coffee. It is the worst I've had, on par with those cheap coffee packets found in lesser motel rooms. There are no coffee makers in the rooms for those who bring their own. Also, non-dairy gluten-free milk substitutes (almond, coconut, or oat) are not available.
The entertainment was good and enjoyable, as are the variety of harmless wild life found on the premises.
Fun SCUBA trip

Really enjoyed staying at the Cozumel location. Perfect location for SCUBA diving as you're really close to all the diving spots. Resort was first class all the way. Very professional staff and very clean. Angelo and Amy were awesome taking care of the guests at the pool in the afternoon and then performing in the shows in the evening.
