Beautiful resort with lush mangroves and vegetation throughout! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we were a bit apprehensive because the reviews said there wasn’t much of a beach but there is plenty beach space next to the resort right by the pool. There is snorkelling right off the beach where we got to see lots of fish, rays and other sea life! Drink service on the beach was also a bonus! Renly enjoyed our dinner at Corral, the Oceanside sea food restaurant, Ruben and staff were great! We will definitely be back here!

My wife and I stayed at the Occidental Cozumel for our honeymoon and had a great time! The room is spacious with lots of hot water. The ocean is calm and the snorkelling is great! Part of the beach has been washed away but there is a sizeable new section full of loungers. Food and service were wonderful, especially Ruben and his staff at Coral! We also had a great time watching the Coati and other wildlife on the property. We will definitely be back.

Amazing staff ! Amazing facilities! All around the most amazing week ever ! Cannot wait to come back. Great scuba experience, good food. This was my first time out of the country from Washington state and it couldn’t have been a better time !!

I had a fantastic stay at Occidental Cozumel! The staff was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. From the front desk to the restaurant servers and housekeeping, everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of.

I would recommend staying here to anyone. It truly was a beautiful week in every way. We enjoyed snorkelling right off the beach, walks around the beautifully lush property, the food, the room, the views of the ocean, the cleanliness, the helpfulness of the staff. Beautifully laid out to accommodate those with mobility issues, or to just enjoy a lovely walk or reading spot. There were places to play board games, a beautiful beach where we could have shade under the mangroves or get all the sun we wanted. Well done!
