We stayed at Sonesta Ft. Lauderdale Beach for a family vacation. This hotel is all around amazing. Juline at check-in and check-out was awesome. You gotta catch Ford at the valet- hes the guy. We ordered many items from Steelpan and nothing disappointed. This hotel has some of the best customer service I've seen and every employee really took care of us. We can't wait to come back. See you soon Ft. Lauderdale!

From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff and shown every courtesy! Checking in with Evelyn, Javier, Shantavia and Juline was seemless. Each one of them took a certain responsibility, as needed, to insure our check in, and stay, was up to Sonasta standard, which is superb. Everything from Javier upgrading our room for the best ocean views to the meal service in the hotel restaurant. All the meals there were absolutely delicious…from the freshest fruit to the fabulous coffee and cocktails. The staff was exceptional on every level. From the security staff to the bartender to the valet staff. Thank You ???? everyone at the Sonasta Hotel FT Lauderdale! I can’t leave this review without saying something about the rooms, the beds were so comfortable and the view was EXCEPTIONAL!

Javier and Rosa really took care of us during our stay and upgraded our room to a junior suite. The room was incredibly clean and was fit with a stunning view. Location? Price? Both 10/10. Choose Sonesta over whichever other hotel you’re considering.

Good bits-the hotel is very clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms are nice and bright with comfortable beds. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable if you need any information of the area. Bad bits- the pool is small for the hotel size. One family with kids took over the pool splashing the chairs at the sides of the pool. Our bathroom had a cracked floor tile and the door base was peeling off leaving shards on the floor. We had booked an ocean view and all we could see was road and trees (picture attached). They charge $8 for a bottle of water! Valet parking was nice but $51 a day soon mounts up. You can park for $25 round the corner. If you are there for a few days I would suggest doing that. You got so many different tax charges on the receipt, you need to check it carefully.

I have been coming to the fort for awhile now and in my excursions have always been intrigued by this hotel and the location. I finally bit the bullet and decided to book a long weekend over 4th of july and am very glad i did. I have to be honest and state that the main reason i decided to stay here is i have known the man, the myth, the legend arron teague for sometime and when i heard he was at this hotel now, there was no doubt that i was staying here. and man, i was not disappointed. every single employee i came into contact with was excellent. every single one. the pool is awesome, the pool bar was so convenient and the restaurant had great good. but now its time to call out just a couple of the playahs. the gal at the front desk, shantavia? i hope i didnt butcher that too much, was a pure delight. knowledgeable and friendly. she took great care of us. and we felt very welcomed immediately. that young lady is a gem. and then there was cory at the pool bar. when you look up stud bartender on google, i think it comes back with a simple picture of cory. that dude was outstanding. knew me from the first time i stopped and always had a drink ready for me. one of the top bartenders that i have ever met. and a major reason why i would come back to this hotel. also cant beat the location. i like to go to the parrot lounge and it is right across the street from the pool exit. cant beat that. lots of good things this place has going for it from the top down. hope to be back soon.
