My wife and I were attending a wedding in the Crystal Ballroom Beach Place, wedding venue, in Fort Lauderdale, so we selected to stay at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach, which was just a short, delightful twenty-minute walk and the Sonesta. We chose the Sonesta as it was an impressive Hotel and offered excellent value. Because I am of the 'large brigade', the large soft bed in our wonderful room was especially comfortable. I also loved that our room had floor to ceiling windows that provided a view of the mile-long sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The breath-taking morning sunrises, and the evening sunsets, glistening off the ocean. Every member of the reception team, especially Jeremy and Juline, was exceedingly courteous and professional. My spouse and I believed we could talk to them about any issues, since they were always happy to help. I could not open one of my bags on one occasion because of an issue with the lock and Jeremy came to my aid and resolve the issue. Jeremy and Juline were both proficient in their field and advised us of local attractions. The food at Sonesta was excellent and tasty, to go with the complimentary glass of Prosecco, on arrival. I would most definitely recommend this hotel. It is exceptionally clean and inviting and the views are ‘to die for.’ All the staff are creditable. Over all ten out of ten. God willing, we hope to return to this amazing hotel to experience the same and new encounters.

The location is perfect, the beach is right across the street, where the beach chairs are set up for you, you do have a charge for the umbrella. Rafael, the gentleman who sets up everything, is on top of it. There is a pizza place, Primanti Brothers, which is right there as well. Hungry on the beach go there. There are a couple great places right there to eat as well We did not eat at the hotel, but the restaurant looked clean. Julien checked us in, very sweet and helpful. We did have one problem, housekeeping did not restock our room. Also they did not empty the refrigerator, but quickly rectified everything. Did not want to take off a star because of it. Perfect place to go, no need for a car. We used Uber for our rides. DO NOT use yellow cab like we were told when I called to ask about transportation. Uber was great way of getting to your places.

Staff was something we have never experienced before, in the best way possible. They are eager to learn about your situation and make an effort to make your experience in Fort Lauderdale the best! Huge props to Dionte, who after learning we were staying for 3 days, stayed up late arranging a travel itinerary with things to do and fixing up transportation logistics for us. Dionte and the rest of the team make you feel appreciated, and value guests who can return that friendliness in return. Incredible experience, congrats.

Overbearing Perfume smell in the small Lobby is offensive especially to allergy sufferers. Bathrooms are small and dated… Needs an upgrade badly. Overpriced for the quality. The ocean view from room 913 was superb!! Ford in Valet was a real gentleman. We definitely can do much better for the price.

We came here on a little getaway . We were surprised with an upgraded room and the view was AMAZING!! Juline was awesome any time we went to the front desk ! Hotel was beautiful and clean ! We had a great time on our trip. We can not wait to come back !
